In an environment where the country attaches importance to the inheritance and development of intangible cultural heritage,traditional handicrafts as an important carrier have also received more and more attention.However,due to the complexity of traditional handicraft knowledge,it is difficult for most people to effectively understand and learn it.Therefore,how to adopt effective learning methods to help more people recognize and understand traditional handicrafts is a research topic of contemporary significance.The research contents of this subject are as follows:(1)Through research,the problems faced by traditional handicraft learning models in learning and cognition at the emergence stage are: inadequate content understanding,single learning form,and incomplete learning evaluation.Then,through the analysis of the current situation at home and abroad,the research status of STEAM education and embodied cognition theory in traditional crafts learning is obtained.(2)This research sorts out the related concepts of STEAM education,and elaborates the characteristics of embodied learning under the guidance of embodied cognition,cognitive process and cognitive approach.Furthermore,from the perspective of the definition and characteristics of traditional handicrafts,it discusses the embodied nature of traditional handicraft knowledge,and puts forward the concept of embodied learning of traditional handicrafts.(3)This model takes traditional handicrafts as the artistic theme and builds a multi-level learning framework based on the STEAM education framework.Under the guidance of embodied learning of traditional handicrafts,the application principles of STEAM education will be discussed,and the main concepts,characteristics and processes of embodied learning of traditional handicrafts based on STEAM education will be clarified.According to this,an embodied learning model of traditional handicraft based on STEAM education is constructed.Finally,according to the learning model,the Cantonese Porcelain Porcelain Workshop and its auxiliary learning system were designed and implemented,and its ease of use and effectiveness were verified.Practice results prove that the embodied learning model of traditional handicraft based on STEAM education can help learners understand cultural connotation through diversified learning content,diversified learning methods,and multi-dimensional evaluation system.
