The Application Of Flower And Bird Patterns On Jingdezhen Porcelain In Qing Dynasty On The Design Of Cultural And Creative Products

As a treasure of Chinese culture,Jingdezhen porcelain is famous in China and abroad,and the porcelain industry in Jingdezhen has also made world-renowned achievements due to its superb porcelain-making technology and porcelain decorative art.Besides,flower and bird patterns have been the most well-known theme of porcelain decoration.They possess a long history and are especially renowned for the flower and bird patterns on Jingdezhen porcelain which design and cultural connotations are of great research value,and which can be served as a reference for modern cultural and creative products.This paper uses methods of comparative analysis,inductive research,and questionnaire survey and takes the flower and bird patterns on Jingdezhen porcelain in the Qing Dynasty as the research object to study the application of traditional porcelain decorative patterns on cultural and creative products on the basis of Decorative Pattern Theory.It firstly elaborates on the concept of decorative patterns,clarifies the manifestation of flower and bird patterns,and summarizes their characteristics.Secondly,based on the origin and development of flower and bird patterns on Jingdezhen porcelain,the paper focuses on flower and bird patterns on Jingdezhen porcelain in the Qing Dynasty in terms of the social background,theme and content,and decorative style,outlines the main characteristics of the patterns,and analyzes their aesthetic connotations and features.In addition,representative flower and bird patterns are collected from the decorative patterns on Jingdezhen porcelain in the Qing dynasty,and the collected patterns are divided into the single pattern,serial pattern,and comprehensive pattern for a redesign.Finally,the paper conducts a statistic on the public’s attention to the patterns on Jingdezhen porcelain in the Qing Dynasty and the demand for cultural and creative products according to the feedback of the questionnaire.Based on this,a design practice of cultural and creative products of flower and bird patterns on Jingdezhen porcelain in the Qing Dynasty is carried out,with the aim of integrating modern design language with the artistic characteristics of this kind of patterns and enhancing the added value of the patterns’ cultural and creative products,inheriting and promoting Chinese traditional decorative art,and creating cultural and creative products with unique humanistic connotation which can inspire people’s empathy.This paper researches the flower and bird patterns on Jingdezhen porcelain under the guidance of Decorative Pattern Theory and explores the application of this kind of patterns in the Qing Dynasty on the design of modern cultural and creative products,which helps the inheritance and development of flower and bird patterns on Jingdezhen porcelain.In the meantime,the research provides some references to the combination of traditional porcelain patterns with modern cultural and creative products in the future.
