Chinese cultural heritage is the most important resource wealth of our country.Since the18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China has made a series of progress and achievements in cultural heritage.The 19 th National Congress has established my country’s development direction on the basis of development achievements,guiding my country’s cultural heritage protection work into a new development direction.General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: "It is necessary to systematically sort out traditional cultural resources,so that the cultural relics collected in the forbidden palace,the heritage displayed on the vast land,and the words written in the ancient books are all alive,so that the excellent traditional Chinese culture will become the core of socialism.An important source of values,and strive to build a socialist cultural power." Culture has increasingly become a key issue in urban development and even in economic society.Compared with cities,rural conservation has more cultural and historical traditions.Historical cultural heritage has not been paid attention to and protected due to villagers’ personal qualities,education level,weak cultural awareness,and low community participation.Its cultural connotation It has not been well inherited.At present,the protection of traditional ancient buildings has been greatly impacted.How to protect the carriers of ancient buildings that carry hundreds of years of cultural heritage has become an urgent issue.Therefore,it is necessary to increase the protection of cultural heritage in rural areas,restore the historical and cultural roots of rural areas,continue the cultural heritage value in the memory of nostalgia,and let China’s excellent traditional culture take root in the heart.There is an existing Hakka house in Matoush Village,Shijiao Town,Qingcheng District,Qingyuan City-Zhong’s House Village,which locals call "Nine Halls and Eighteen Wells".It is an example of the well-preserved "Nine Halls and Eighteen Wells" in the form of enclosed houses in Qingyuan.It is an open architectural form derived from the Hakka Cultural District in Northeast Guangdong and the Cantonese Cultural District in Central Guangdong.It is a valuable cultural heritage in Qingyuan..This article takes the unique "Nine Halls and Eighteen Wells" fenced houses in Qingyuan area as the research object,with the fundamental purpose of protecting and revitalizing the regional cultural heritage and enriching the pedigree of ancient houses in northern Guangdong,and systematically the fenced houses in detail.The research summarizes the origins of Hakka culture in Qingyuan area and the representatives of the types of enclosed houses in Qingyuan area,aiming to explore the characteristic forms and value characteristics of their enclosed houses,and analyze the specificity of enclosed houses through comparative analysis with different types of enclosed houses in Qingyuan area.The cultural changes and structural changes behind the differences,and pointed out the problems in the inheritance and development of the fenced house,proposed adaptive protection and activation strategies,in order to solve the development dilemma of Zhong’s House Village in Qingyuan.Based on the above analysis of the research background,the method of field investigation,literature research and modern information technology is used for research.First,combined with the literature and research data,the source development and distribution of the local Hakka in Qingyuan area are analyzed,and the types and architectural characteristics of the surrounding houses in the area are summarized.Secondly,through the field investigation method,collect and sort out the social background of the village and the humanistic and natural social background of the enclosure,use rangefinder and other surveying tools to survey and map the enclosure,and use computer modeling technology to model.Based on the cross-disciplinary perspective of architecture,history,and culture,the site selection environment,defense characteristics,overall layout,facade composition,architectural construction,local decoration and spatial layout combination of Zhong’s House are analyzed and summarized.Different types of enclosures in Qingyuan area are selected for specific comparison and analysis from the type characteristics and construction characteristics,and the causes of differences are summarized and analyzed to form a more systematic and comprehensive research content of enclosures.Finally,through the interpretation and reference of the development results of relevant domestic and foreign protection laws and regulations and the protection and activation theory of historic buildings,and the analysis and reference of actual cases that have been successfully protected and activated,combined with the current status of the Zhong’s house village,the establishment The value system evaluates the value of the enclosed house,establishes a suitable protection and activation model for the "Nine Halls and Eighteen Wells"-shaped Chung’s House Village,upholds the principle of protection and activation,and proposes appropriate protection and activation schemes and specific measures.,In order to activate the enclosure building and continue its historical context and vitality.
