When a vehicle is driving,it will send a location-containing message to achieve the following purposes: informs the surrounding vehicles of their real-time location to reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents;requests news,social and entertainment information from the location-based service(LBS)server to improve the driving experience.As the vehicular networks has a large-scale network structure and open wireless channels,the privacy information of the vehicle location is exposed to the network all the time.If the messages cannot be protected,communications in the vehicular networks will cause the privacy of users to be leaked.Traditional location privacy protection schemes propose to use pseudonyms to protect the location privacy of vehicles,but simply changing pseudonyms cannot meet the actual requirements of vehicles.On the one hand,due to the social characteristics of vehicles,the location privacy requirements for places frequently visited by vehicles,such as home and workplace,should be higher than those that are rarely visited;on the other hand,the pseudonym changing is limited by the number of vehicles and in many places where location privacy is in urgent need of protection,the pseudonym changing of the vehicle cannot achieve the purpose of location privacy protection.In response to the above problems,this thesis designs a personalized location privacy protection mechanism based on vehicle movement regularity in vehicular networks and a virtual vehicle-based location privacy protection scheme in 5G-enabled vehicular networks.The main contributions are as follows:1)Aiming at the problem of location privacy protection in vehicular networks,this thesis proposes a personalized location privacy protection scheme based on the regularity of vehicle movement.According to the movement of vehicles,the strategy of pseudonym changing of the vehicle is different;and a measurement method called sensitivity is designed to quantify the location privacy requirements of the vehicle;at the same time,a pseudonym age analysis model is used to verify the efficiency of the scheme and the analyze results show that the scheme can significantly improve the personalized location privacy of each vehicle.2)Aiming at the problem of location privacy protection in vehicular networks,this thesis proposes a location privacy protection scheme based on virtual vehicles.Firstly,use virtual vehicles to confuse adversaries when the number of vehicles is small;secondly,consider some privacy-sensitive locations,such as hospitals,government agencies,etc.,to expand the area of pseudonym change to sensitive areas,thereby providing a more practical location privacy protection scheme.In addition,a pseudonym changing game is designed,and only vehicles that meet the requirements will change pseudonyms,thus achieving personalized location privacy.
