A Comparative Study Of Wang Shu And Liu Jiakun’s Architectural Works From The Perspective Of Tectonic

With the development of globalization,the construction market has become more and more open.The influx of foreign architects has brought many new architectural cultures,architectural visions,and construction techniques to the Chinese construction industry,which has made some local architects lost.Between the so-called style and form,the humanistic spirit and ontology of architecture gradually become uninterested.As architects,only by developing design methods and design strategies suitable for the expression of architectural ontology can we understand the language of the local architecture itself,and we can find a path suitable for the development of Chinese local architectural design.The introduction of "tectonic" cultural theory can provide a way for Chinese native architects and architectural scholars to explore the ontology of architecture.Based on the reflection on the current situation of Chinese architecture and the basic concepts of tectonic,this article selects the architectural works of Wang Shu and Liu Jiakun as the research objects,and comparatively studies the tectonic of these two representative architects in Chinese local architecture.Thought,trying to explore some tectonic strategies based on the tectonic vision that are suitable for the localization development of Chinese architecture.First of all,through field research,literature research,expert interviews and other methods,this article preliminary sorted out Wang Shu and Liu Jiakun’s personal experience,educational background,architectural thought source and practice process,and initially summarized their explorations in tectonic and localized design and practice.Then,using the method of comparative research,this article contrasts and analyzes the architectural practice works of Wang Shu and Liu Jiakun from two different tectonic perspectives of materiality,emotion and culture,and logically integrates the tectonic ideas of the two.Finally,this article summarizes the tectonic strategies of Wang Shu and Liu Jiakun,reflects on the tectonic ideas,and proposes several feasible tectonic strategies suitable for the development of Chinese local architecture.Based on the present,based on the local,in the perspective of tectonic,focusing on the building body,focusing on the region,focusing on the tradition,focusing on the materials,and focusing on the construction,this is the basic position of this article.The author hopes that the research results of the thesis can provide some reference and reference for Chinese local architectural design.
