Application Of High Performance Insulation Materials And Their Expansion Of Tectonic

In the mid-20 th century,a variety of new materials were found that were lightweight,loose and with a large number of small voids inside.Due to their lower thermal conductivity,can reduce the energy required to maintain a suitable indoor temperature during building operations.It is considered as insulation material and is widely used in buildings.This approach makes most structural bodies to be covered behind insulation layers,and the phenomenon of layered construction practices is becoming more common which conflict with existing tectonic principles.How to deal with this situation and how to resolve the contradiction between performance requirements and structural expression is the purpose of the study.The article traces the objective facts of the birth,development and application of insulation materials and the historical process of insulation theory and related practical activities in the building as the basis.And some thermodynamic principles and theories are used to make it more comprehensive and profound to understand of the phenomenon of installing insulation materials in the exterior walls of buildings.In the existing three methods of exterior wall insulation,the article focuses on the exterior wall sandwich insulation which including cavity walls and layered construction.This is to present the neglect of the energy topic in the existing tectonic principles,and the argument that the structural expression should be judged by the new concept after the participation of the performance layer.In the last article,with the help of the real design,the Shuobei Township Tourist Service Center responded to the article argument.The design of the building exterior wall adopts the layered construction method to meet the building insulation demand and has the inherent logic support.
