Qingshan Village: A Study On The Public Space Renewal Strategy Of Traditional Villages With Scenic Village Integration

With increased government support for rural areas and the booming tourism industry,the era of holistic tourism has arrived,and traditional villages with superior geographical locations are flourishing nationwide due to their unique historical,cultural and artistic cultural heritage.Among them,the traditional villages with their distinctive regional characteristics and unique traditional culture,how to protect and perpetuate the uniqueness of the villages in the development of rural tourism,and at the same time,how to use the geographical advantage of the scenic spots and their own resource advantages to link the integrated development of scenic spots,are of great concern.The research object of this thesis is Qingshan Village,a traditional village within the Laoshan Scenic Area.By exploring a new model of in-situ transformation and development of traditional villages with scenic-village integration,a strategy for public space renewal of traditional villages with scenic-village integration is proposed,so as to achieve integrated scenic-village development,which is the core of this research.Based on the analysis of theories and literature related to the regeneration of public spaces in traditional villages with integrated scenic-village development,this paper analyses and summarises the trends,current situation and problems of the regeneration of different types of public spaces,analyses the reasons for the stagnation of their rural tourism development,and proposes a strategy for the regeneration of public spaces at the planning and spatial levels based on the development of integrated scenic-village tourism.Through the study of public space regeneration strategies for villages,the problem of linkage and development between traditional villages with scenic-village integration and scenic spots is solved,which has theoretical significance to improve the research related to the transformation and development of such villages and practical significance to guide the integrated scenic-village development of such villages.The research is divided into five parts:(1)to explain the background,purpose,significance and relevant concepts of the research,to study the theories related to the renewal of public space in traditional villages with scenic-village integration,to summarise and analyse the progress and shortcomings of domestic and foreign research on the conservation and development planning of traditional villages and the renewal of public space,and to provide a theoretical basis for the latter part of the paper.(2)Based on the analysis of the impact of scenic spots on the public space of traditional villages with scenic-village integration,this paper proposes the idea of linkage development of scenic-village integration and builds a framework for the study of public space renewal of traditional villages with scenic-village integration based on tourism linkage development.(3)Through field research,the current characteristics of public space and the current situation of renewal in Qingshan Village are sorted out,and the problems of different types of public space are proposed.(4)Based on the analysis of the upper planning of Qingshan Village and the current situation of rural tourism development,the problems of rural tourism development and public space regeneration are summarised,pointing out that there are not only external factors restricting its development in Laoshan Scenic Area,but also many internal factors existing in Qingshan Village itself,and then proposing the development trend of village tourism based on the linkage development of scenic-village tourism.(5)By adopting the approach of linked scenic-village tourism development,the public space of Qingshan Village is proposed to be applied at the planning level and spatial level,and a public space renewal strategy suitable for the development of rural tourism in the village is proposed to establish a link between the scenic area and the village,rural tourism and public space,with a view to promoting the integrated development of scenic-village more effectively.(6)Three conclusions are drawn:firstly,the development of rural tourism in traditional villages with scenic-village integration should adopt a scenic-village tourism linkage development approach;secondly,there are four trends of public space renewal in traditional villages with scenic-village integration,and this is used to establish a framework for research on the renewal of public space in traditional villages with scenic-village integration based on tourism linkage development;thirdly,the renewal of public space in traditional villages with scenic-village integration should be explored at the planning and This paper also presents the limitations,problems and prospects of this study.
