| A-Company is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the research,development and production for three-way catalytic converters of auto parts.The company always adheres to the business philosophy of persistence,innovation and craftsmanship,and strives to provide customers with high-quality products which of most competitiveness.With the continuous expansion of the automotive market,the competition is much more severe than before,the stability of the products’ quality became as the top priority which the customer would request.Therefore,the company implements the Six Sigma management method,various quality analysis tools and methods in daily work,to continuously reduce the defects and deformation in process,improve the products’ yield,achieve 100% customer satisfaction,and further increase the competitiveness.This thesis takes the technological control problem in the production process of three-way catalyst products as the starting point,and uses the Six Sigma DMAIC(Define,Measure,Analyze,Improve,Control)improvement model to measure and evaluate the existing process,recognize the failure mode of the welding process,determine the key X that affects the output Y through data analysis,clarifiy the standard of the technological parameter,find out the optimal improvement plan,and carry out effective control of the process to improve the quality of the product,by doing which the defects rate was reduced from 17% to 4%,and the company saved 1.77 million yuan per year.Through standardized operations,we can ensure that the improvement measures can be effectively implemented and the related horizontal development of improved results can be carried out,so that the optimum proposal analyzed and obtained by this thesis can be applied to similar products,similar problems or similar processes(or procedures),by which to guarantee the company output and management level reach a new height.In the course of the study,DMAIC tools are used,such as flowchart analysis,Pareto analysis,measurement system analysis(Measurement System Analysis),process capability analysis,hypothesis test,key factor funnel analysis,C.E.matrix analysis,causal matrix analysis and statistical process control.The improvement of product yield can reduce the company’s manufacturing cost and increase the profit margin.At the same time,the customers satisfaction will be improved since less complaints received.Good product quality also guarantees the uptrending competitive in the market.It is hoped that the research of implementing the Six Sigma Management in Acompany can be extended to the peer enterprises in improving the quality management level,provide the auto parts production industry with the executive experience of Six Sigma Management,also serve as a useful reference for the industry development. |
