Engineering construction is a processes of complex combination, with thecharacteristics of variety structure, high quality requirements, long structure-buildingcycle and so on. Strengthening the optimization of engineering constructionmanagement project has the decisive significance for the engineering quality. On thebasis of the status of construction industry, through concretely analysis the theories oflean theory and Six Sigma, this passage study the feasibility of its consolidation in theconstruction industry, and then select the instance to prove it, in order to achieve thepurpose of optimizing the construction project.Through analysing and researching, this article divides the optimization projectinto following three parts, optimization of process flow, evaluation of quality targetand performance guarantee, specific content as follows.The first part is the optimization of process flow. Using the idea of lean theory,DMAIC management mode which established by six sigma management theory willbe improved to the DMPCE mode which included the follow steps such asdefine(Define), measure (Measure), planning (Plan), control (Control) and acceptance(Examine).Part2is the evaluation of quality target. Aiming at the construction enterpriseitself and basing on the basic theory of fuzzy mathematics, analytic hierarchy process(ahp) and Delphi method, we present a kind of multi-level comprehensive evaluationmodel and method in the building engineering construction. quality evaluation team isset up in the project management department, who relies on real grasp of the projectobjectives and the actual operation situation, and then scores for the multiple levels ofevaluation. At the same time, the score results will be used to the method of weightedaverage of the sum, as far as possible avoid subjectivity, in order to making theevaluation system more accurate.Part3is the performance guarantee, through getting the six sigma scorecardperformance guarantee system and the former two parts process subsystems ofprocess optimization, multi-objective optimization organically together, it makes theoptimization of the project in all aspects to get great improvement.By combining the case study we get the follow results. The combining of the lean theory and the six sigma management theory which is applied into the quality ofthe engineering project management optimization is more important in the projectimplementation of the project, not only for the optimization of the project from thelevel of performance and monitoring, you can compare the data in the plan, thevarious indicators to each improvement, and from the implementation levelsignificantly increase the degree of project optimization. At the same time the theoryis still at the research stage, there are many limitations, such as first-line staffprofessional knowledge training, cross-sectoral cooperation is not harmonious, indexevaluation still has certain subjective consciousness and so on, combined withadvanced management concept, further appropriate innovation is the direction of thelean six sigma management theory to improve in the future.
