Adaptation And Guidance:Furnishings Design And Application Research Of Rehabilitation Space For Children

There are more than 10 million people with autism in the world since 2019,and the prevalence rate of autism in China is about 1%,including about 2 million children under the age of 12.With the increasing number of children with autism and the rapid development of modern medical technology,these children,as a special group,have received more and more extensive attention in the society.Taking children with autism as an example,this paper designs a safe,warm and beneficial treatment environment for the users of children’s rehabilitation through furnishings design and applications,and carries out analysis and research on the subject content of them.Through field research,literature analysis,interview and other research methods,this paper analyzes the furnishings design and application in the rehabilitation environment for autistic children which belongs to a special group.On the basis of understanding the cognitive characteristics and requirements,and compare the Chinese and foreign theory research and practice of the project,this paper explore and put forward the furnishings design and the strategy of application for children’s rehabilitation space from the autism children’s adaptation to the environment and the guidance effect of environment on patients.It also summarizes related conclusions and results to the furnishings design and application of rehabilitation space for children.Through the influence of furnishings design and application in children’s rehabilitation space on human mechanism,this paper aims to try to meet the rehabilitation needs of patients,realize patients actively cooperate with treatment and maximize the expanding of the effect of rehabilitation treatment,and lay the foundation for them to return to society,receive education equally and participate in social life normally.Firstly,this paper focuses on a field survey of children’s rehabilitation centers in the main city and surroundings of Jiangsu Province and Chongqing,and lists and analyzes the results of the survey purposefully.Taking children with autism as an example and according to the results of population survey,literature and actual cases,this paper analyzes the development of the furnishings design and application in children’s rehabilitation space in China.It concludes the problems and demands of furnishings design and application for children’s rehabilitation space.Secondly,combining with the practice of graduation design,namely the actual project of Chongqing Branch of Beijing Yuanchuang Green Building Decoration Co.,Ltd.--the furnishings design of Chongqing Tong Meng Bei Er Rehabilitation Hospital.Based on the pathological needs of patients,dimension of human figures,aesthetic taste,and the design principles of spatial functional characteristics.From the perspectives of people,space and rehabilitation,the transformation of the traditional Chinese toy Tangram is applied as the medium of creation to the design and application of children’s rehabilitation space,and the theories of the furnishings design and application are analyzed,so as to develop an effective way of information presentation.
