Fuel and electricity consumption(hereinafter referred to as "energy consumption")is the core index to evaluate new energy vehicles.The energy consumption test method that conforms to the actual road driving conditions in China is the basis of vehicle performance calibration,optimization and energy consumption certification,and has great significance for the implementation of energy conservation and emission reduction strategy in China.For many years,the energy consumption certification of new energy vehicles in China has always followed the NEDC(New European Driving Cycle).However,many years of practice found that the actual energy consumption of the vehicles optimized and calibrated based on the NEDC driving cycle has more and more deviation from the certification results of regulations.In order to solve the problem of test driving cycle,China Automotive Technology and Research Center led the industry to develop China automobile test driving cycle,which has been verified to be more in line with China’s reality.In addition to the test driving cycles,a large number of data shows that the test conditions of the current laws and regulations in China are too idealized,and the impact of actual driving conditions such as load mass,temperature,air conditioning on energy consumption is not considered.In this paper,a light-duty pure electric vehicle and a light-duty plug-in hybrid electric vehicle are selected as reference sample vehicles.Using the method of simulation analysis,from the perspective of energy loss of each part of the vehicle,the impact of different test driving cycles and test conditions on the energy consumption of light-duty new energy vehicles is explored.The specific research contents are as follows:(1)The key components of the power system of the pure electric vehicle are selected and the parameters are matched.In AVL Cruise software,the vehicle model is built,and the vehicle performance simulation is carried out to verify the rationality of the model;in Cruise,the influence of NEDC,WLTC(Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Cycle)and China automobile test driving cycle on the driving range and energy consumption of electric vehicles is simulated and analyzed;combined with the characteristic parameters of the driving cycles,the influence of driving cycles on the energy consumption of each part of the vehicle and the working efficiency of the power components are analyzed in detail,and the internal mechanism of the influence rule of driving cycles on energy consumption is revealed.The research results show that the driving range is the longest and the energy consumption is the lowest under China automobile test driving cycle,driving range is the shortest and the energy consumption is the highest under WLTC driving cycle;the low energy consumption to overcome air resistance and the better braking energy recovery effect are the main reasons for the long driving range and the low energy consumption under China automobile test driving cycle.(2)Based on the China automobile test driving cycle,the effects of load mass,ambient temperature and air conditioning on the driving range and energy consumption of the electric vehicle are explored.The results show that the greater the load mass,the shorter the driving range and the higher the energy consumption;compared with normal temperature without air conditioning,when high temperature air conditioning is on,driving range decreases by 15%and energy consumption increases by 17%;when low temperature air conditioning is on,driving range decreases by 31% and energy consumption increases by 44%.(3)The mode switching conditions of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle are determined,and the rule-based vehicle control strategy is built in Simulink;according to the sample vehicle parameters,the plug-in hybrid electric vehicle model is built in Cruise,and the vehicle performance simulation is carried out to verify the rationality of the vehicle model and control strategy;in Cruise,the impact of NEDC,WLTC,and China automobile test driving cycle on the pure electric driving range and energy consumption in the stage of electric power reduction of the plug-in hybrid vehicle are simulated and analyzed.Based on the China automobile test driving cycle,the influence of load mass on the energy consumption of plug-in hybrid electric vehicle is analyzed.
