The new energy vehicles with the characteristic of energy saving and environmental protection have become the mainstream for the automotive development. Due to its short endurance mileage, long charging time and fuel cells'technology difficulty, pure electric vehicle and fuel cell electric vehicle are difficult to make a major breakthrough in a short term. Hybrid electric vehicle has become one of the important directions for the new energy vehicles. Driving motor is the key component in the hybrid electric vehicle powertrain, its parameter matching and control method will directly affect vehicle dynamic property, fuel economy performance and emission. Before the motor is loaded in the vehicle, bench test must be carried out to verify the performance parameters. The traditional bench test usually is the static test, it does not consider the driving motor actual work characteristics, so there is a deviation between the test results and he actual work condition. So, this paper puts forwards the dynamic test method for vehicle driving motor based on driving cycle, and does the related experiments. For its small volume, high power density and high performance, permanent magnet synchronous motor has become the main choice for the HEV. So, this paper chooses the permanent magnet synchronous motor as the bench test object, do the followings work:Firstly, in the circumstances that without changing the vehicle wiring harness, not affecting the normal operation of vehicles, install the information acquisition device on the city HEV, collect actual vehicle operating data. According to the collected data, do principal component analysis, cluster analysis to construct the city driving cycle, and on the basis of this driving cycle do the bench dynamic testThen, research the permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control, put forward a vector control method based on the map to control the permanent magnet synchronous motor, this method solves these problems in traditional vector control which include PID slow response, over-current and the dependence on the current sensors. And do the motor bench calibration experiments to prove that this method is feasible and efficient. This provides the basis for the further motor bench static test and dynamic test based on the city driving cycle.Finally, according to the test requirements, build the bench for HEV driving motor, put forward the requirements of temperature rising and efficiency characteristic for vehicle driving motor and the related test scheme, and do about the motor temperature rising, efficiency, load and other static and dynamic tests. According to the results, the results of temperature rising, efficiency and load vary widely in the static and dynamic tests, the reason of which is mainly because vehicle driving motor cannot always work near the rated point like the general industrial motor, while changes with the vehicle operating conditions. Therefore, making use of the static test methods and standards to design and evaluate vehicle driving motor is unreasonable. Country should take the dynamic test based on driving cycle as the standard to verify whether the motor various performance indicators meet the vehicle driving motor requirements as well as constitute the evaluation criteria suitable for the vehicle driving motor.
