Improvement Of RAW Material Inventory Management Based On ERP

The stock of procurement stock is the key resource for AUV,which is very important for OTD KPI in commercial vehicle industry.The management of science and inventory,the reasonable stock composition and the reasonable stock level is the competitiveness for AUV,which is determined the position in commercial vehicle market.To strength the enterprise inventory management,we also can use the modern information technology to collect data from all the business department and do the business analysis from the report in ERP system.We can say ERP system is one effective for enterprise inventory management.In this pager,the author will talk about the inventory management of AUV through the ABC classification method,ERP,BPI,which are situated for AUV business.Firstly,the author making a brief introduction of research background and objective for inventory management improvement in commercial vehicle industry.Secondly,the author introduced the organization of AUV,the occupation of procurement stock and the high stock level of AUV.The four reasons for the high stock level including: Slowing processing of Serious Obsolete and Excess,timeless and accuracy is poor on ERP data,The ABC classification is not science,frequent order changes.At last,providing the solutions for the inventory management improvement as following: Optimization ABC classification through the data from ERP;Providing data report for processing on Obsolete and Excess;Customizing new function and order change report for order change management in order to improve the efficiency of order change and providing data for order change claim and assessment.Enhancing management on ERP data of timeless and accuracy;Improvement processing on Obsolete and Excess、improving the order changing process based on ERP.Through the above improvement measures,the inventory turnover days has been shortened,the average shortage days has been decreased,the inventory capital occupation has been reduced.That is so say,AUV company’s operation efficiency has been improved by the improvement of inventory improvement.
