With the advent of economic globalization, lean manufacturing plays an increasingly important role in industrial production.Inventory management, one of the core elements of lean manufacturing,is also becoming more and more important, serving as a core element in corporate competitiveness.Through literature review and the experience summarized,Icomprehensively analyze and compare the practical problems appearing in the operation management of the G company inventory usinga combination of qualitative and quantitative methods, with a view to finding out the crux of the problems and proposing solutions according to specific situations, includinghigh inventory, low FTQ,high level of stagnant materials in the stock, low on-time delivery rate, and low inventory turnover ratio. In the actual inventory management, specific analyses are conducted according to specific situations. In applying economic management theories andconsidering the actual situation of Company G,I have optimized the process of inventory management and improved the Company system. In addition, the stock materials are classified according to the frequency of use and the amount of use in management. The effectiveness of the implementation is tracked, evaluated, and verified by a comparison between established management objectives and actual operational data.Following the implementation of the rectification and reform scheme for a period of time, the Company G's inventory materials are placed neatly and orderly. The stagnant materials have dropped drastically, and the FTQ has increased significantly, both of which show that the improvement and optimization scheme is effective and has achieved initial success.
