Study On The Traditional Dwellings In Xiyan Town,yicheng County,Shanxi Province

Xiyan Town is located at the junction of Yicheng County,Linfen City,Shanxi Province,south of Shanxi Province and southeast of Shanxi Province.Eight of the nine administrative villages in the town are traditional villages,and it is a typical area with regional cultural integration and distinctive residential features.These traditional dwellings are endangered by the process of urbanization,but there is no relevant academic research on the area.In this paper,through literature research,field survey,oral interviews and other research methods,understanding the basic status quo of the west yan town traditional dwellings,explore its architectural form,structure characteristics,analyzing the influence factors,further study how environment affects the local-style dwelling houses,houses and living and how to affect each other,summed up the regional characteristics of the traditional dwellings,west yan town It is expected to provide technical support for the revitalization of traditional village group in Xiyan Town,Yicheng County.The main points are as follows.1.The single types of residential buildings in Xiyan Town are tiled house and cave house.The tile-roofed house is a two-story three-room wooden building.According to the structure,it is mainly divided into two categories: building and hall,which account for the majority of the building.The cave dwellings are composed of two main types,brick and stone,including imprisoned kiln and cliff kiln.There are a few kilns upstairs.In contrast,tile-roofed houses are more common than cave dwellings,which are often found in mountainous terrain.2.The traditional dwellings in Xiyan Town are influenced by the two regions of south and southeast Shanxi,and the courtyard space has more characteristics of traditional dwellings in southeast Shanxi,such as the square courtyard shape and the arrangement of rurals,which are more similar to those of traditional dwellings in southeast Shanxi.The traditional buildings have the characteristics of both southern and southeastern Shanxi.For example,the size and volume of tile-roofed houses are more similar to those of traditional dwellings in southern Shanxi,while the roof truss-form is more similar to those of traditional dwellings in southeastern Shanxi.3.Under the influence of the mountainous environment,the traditional dwellings in Xiyan Town produce a variety of courtyards and individual forms when dealing with different terrain conditions.Compared with the typical southern and southeastern Shanxi,the traditional dwellings in Xiyan Town are more flexible and free in the use of building types.
