With the rapid development of the country’s economy,culture and other aspects,cities are also expanding,and urban construction is becoming more and more perfect.The former plane transportation can no longer meet the traffic needs of the city and cannot carry more and more cars.Therefore,three-dimensional transportation facilities such as viaducts and overpasses came into being.Although the development of three-dimensional transportation has relieved traffic pressure to a certain extent and solved traffic congestion and other problems,it also produced many problems.Most of the space under the urban viaduct is covered by the bridge body,lack of light all year round,insufficient sunlight,and poor air circulation.Exhaust gas and dust fill the space under the bridge.The air quality is very poor,which eventually causes air pollution.In addition,the traffic on the bridge under the bridge is endless,and the noise is also very loud,which affects the daily life of the surrounding residents.Due to the lack of people’s attention and attention to the space under the urban viaduct,this part of the space was not considered in the urban planning,resulting in the remaining space.The remaining space under the viaduct is large in scale and in the center of the city.If such space is not planned and managed,it will cause a great waste of resources.This article clarifies the direction of the article through the analysis of the current situation and excellent cases at home and abroad,we understand the current utilization status and development frontiers of the remaining space under the viaduct.By analyzing the research scope,component elements,morphological types,and spatial characteristics of the remaining space under the urban viaduct,and investigating the status quo of the remaining space under the bridge,summarize and analyze the status quo of the remaining space and the use-limiting factors.Through field measurement and analysis of environmental factors(light,temperature and humidity,wind speed,soil,noise)that affect the utilization of the remaining space under the viaduct,the results of the remaining space under the viaduct under different environmental conditions,different spatial forms,and different functional types are summarized.Use methods,and landscaping construction strategies.Finally,methods and strategies were proposed through actual case transformation verification,which provided directions for the utilization of the remaining space under the viaduct and the construction of landscaping.
