The Evolution Of Persimmon Pattern In Arts And Crafts And Its Application In Modern Design

Today,with the rapid development of cultural economy industry which takes traditional culture as the core of development,the combination of traditional pattern and modern design has become one of the focus issues of industry research as an important representative of traditional culture.To stem lines of research as a starting point,this paper in order to industrial design under the background of production will be represented by persimmon pattern better use in the modern design,the traditional definition of persimmon pattern,stem form and the evolution of the connotation and the present application of traditional patterns in modern design the party carried on the thorough of analysis and research,and aiming at the shortcomings of the existing application methods are improved,Finally,innovative design and application of persimmon pedicle lines were made according to the research results.In the process of research,this paper uses the literature review method,field investigation method,market research method,induction and summary method,vertical and horizontal comparison and design practice method.Research suggests that stem lines is a kind of symmetrical cross shaped,mainly four disc four of its leaf,nonrepresentational,square or rhombic or shaped like a general persimmon,and have variation patterns,and the tang dynasty to the spring and autumn period and the warring states period to the Han Dynasty bronze mirror and the stem lines represented on the silk,and according to the characteristics of the stem grain shape stem lines can be divided into the following three categories: During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period to the Han Dynasty,the persimmon patterns appeared in combination with geometric patterns,four gods,nebulae and beast heads,which was a simple abstract geometric pattern.Since the Tang Dynasty,persimmon pedal pattern,as a decorative theme pattern on silk fabrics,is a partial realistic geometric flower and leaf pattern.Finally,the persimmon pedicle inherited the shape of the persimmon pedicle as a high-grade silk fabric frame shading.Based on the influence of political,religious and aesthetic factors behind the evolution of persimmon pattern image,it is considered that the ancestor of persimmon pattern was conceived by the ancestors’ worship to nature and narration of agricultural production in the pre-Qin period.During the Spring and Autumn Period and the Warring States Period to the Han Dynasty,when art and aesthetics were constrained by the ruling class and Taoism,persimmon pedestal lines appeared in large numbers on the bronze mirrors of Taoism.At that time,persimmon pedestal lines represented more the mysterious connotation of Taoism.After the secularization of art aesthetics in the Eastern Han Dynasty,the southward shift of cultural center in the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties,and the popularity of flower and bird paintings in the Tang Dynasty,the decorative subject of persimmon pattern changed from the mysterious copper mirror to the silk fabric worn by people in daily life.At that time,the persimmon pattern was more of a decorative flower and leaf pattern close to life rather than a religious symbol.In the Song Dynasty,art and aesthetics were completely free from the bondage of politics and religion.Under the background of paying attention to rules and regulations and auspicious meaning,persimmon pattern also completely evolved into a frame shading with auspicious meaning,and formed a more complex combination pattern with other patterns.Through market research,it is known that the application of traditional patterns in modern design has two directions: plane and three-dimensional.The application methods mainly include direct application,pattern deformation,pattern illustration,material innovation and the use of retro color matching techniques,but the design is also mainly focused on plane design,and the lack of three-dimensional design.Therefore in the design practice in the use of the above application method at the same time also combined with the production background of industrial design,in the graphic design at the same time pay more attention to the combination of structure and function of three-dimensional design,the formation of four persimmon pattern design application cases.
