As a special form of gravity retaining wall,the balance weight retaining wall is widely used to ensure the stability of fill slopes.Section D24-D30 of the retaining wall project of the military-civilian integration high-tech industrial park in Mianyang High-tech Zone is mainly used to support the artificial fill slope in the site with a height of about 10 m.The top of the slope is planned to be a parking lot,and the natural foundation soil in the site has a relatively low bearing capacity,The nature of the project is general.Compared with the main buildings planned in the park,this retaining wall project is only used as an auxiliary project for site leveling,and it is not appropriate to invest too much.Consider the use of balance weight retaining wall support and foundation treatment for such large fill slopes,and reasonable cross-section form and foundation treatment design should reduce the project investment as much as possible on the premise of ensuring the stability or safety of the retaining wall.It is difficult to rationally optimize the cross-sectional form of the balance weight retaining wall without knowing the relationship between the force of the balance weight retaining wall and its own cross-sectional size.For the foundation treatment of soil walls,experts and scholars have studied the wall body and foundation treatment measures separately,which makes the project designing overly conservative.This paper relied on this kind of retaining wall project,and the main research work and results are as follows:(1)Taking section D24-D30 of the retaining wall project of the military-civilian integration high-tech industrial park in Mianyang High-tech Zone as the case study,by evaluating the geological conditions of the site,in accordance with the requirement of 10.2m of filling height and engineering experience,a balance weight retaining wall was preliminarily drawn up.(2)Deriving the calculation formula of earth pressure for the balance weight retaining wall,combined with the preliminary formulation of the form of the retaining wall,calculation and analysis showed that the height of the upper wall is positively correlated with the earth pressure value of the upper wall,and negatively correlated with the earth pressure value of the lower wall;As the back of the wall slopes slowly,the unloading capacity of the balance weight platform becomes stronger,and the position of the balance weight platform has a greater impact on the increase of the earth pressure on the upper wall.(3)Genetic algorithm has global search and optimization capabilities.According to the force characteristics of the balance weight retaining wall,the balance weight retaining wall designed by the genetic algorithm has the characteristics of stronger unloading capacity and more uniform force,which can give full play to the stability of the wall itself,and the base stress is relatively smaller,and the volume of wall masonry per linear meter is about 16% less than that of the initially planned retaining wall.(4)After comparison,selection and calculation of the schemes,the CFG pile composite foundation treatment method is suitable and economical for the retaining wall project;through numerical simulation and comparative analysis,the overall stability of the retaining wall project after the composite foundation treatment is relatively good.The foundation strength and bearing capacity are greatly improved,and the settlement of the wall body and the foundation soil are very small.
