Manufacturing processes such as welding and cutting are widely used in mechanical workshops.When these processes are used,fume pollution will be generated.In particular,welding fume will threaten the physical and mental health of operators,so harmful fumes need to be purified.At present,the welding workshop mainly uses products such as mobile welding fume purification machines and fixed welding fume purification devices,but neither the dust removal efficiency nor the operation methods are satisfactory.Therefore,how to design a welding fume purification device with complete functions and a neat appearance has become the focus of attention in the field of dust removal and purification.This paper studies the two working processes of capturing and purifying welding fume in the mechanical workshop.By constructing a user demand model,applying a variety of design methods to innovatively design welding fume purification device solutions,it provides technical support for the research and development of welding fume purification products for enterprises.Firstly,the situation construction method is used to investigate and analyze the welding operation process and operating environment,and extract the user’s "explicit demand" and "potential demand" from it.The KJ method and KANO model are used to refine and classify a large number of extracted user meeds.On the basis,the TOPSIS method is applied to evalute the importance of user needs and determine the design direction of the innovative plan.Secondly,functional analysis and multi-scale analysis of typical products related to welding fume purification are applied to analyze the functional structure and modeling characteristics,and on this basis,the modeling elements are extracted and the functional structure plan for welding fume purification is designed.According to the typical product function carrier and other related materials,the solution of the function element of the functional structure scheme is obtained,and the functional principle scheme of the welding fume purification system is synthesized by applying the morphological matrix.Construct a scheme evaluation index system based on user needs,apply principal component analysis method-entropy weight method to evaluate multiple innovative design schemes,and screen out relatively better purification schemes.Finally,on the basis of the selected functional principles and modeling elements,the structural scheme is designed according to the structural form of the functional element solution,the prototype of the welding fume purification device of the mechanical workshop is modeled.The layout is designed.Using Ansys Fluent software and Airpak software to perform CFD numercial simulation analysis on the prototype and layout of the welding fume purification device,and simulate the use situation.The results show that the innovative design of the welding fume purification device and its layout in the mechanical workshop are reasonable and feasible,and the purification effect significantly.
