Researh On Public Space Enviroment Design Of Historical And Culture Districts From The Perspective Of Design Semiotics

In the context of rapid urban development,the public’s demand for spiritual culture is constantly rising.In this context,the urgency of the protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks is also rapidly revealed.Modern culture is the inheritance and development of traditional historical culture.How to better inherit and develop traditional culture is an important strategy for my country’s cultural nation-building.Development of traditional culutre needs material carrier.The glorious history of the cities makes up the traditional culture of the nation.The historical and cultual blocks are the origin of the development of the urban history and culutre.These tradional cultural symbols need to be used as a media.The public space of these traditional cultural blocks are required to be used as the carrier in the explanation and spreading of their culture connotation.The rapid urbanization of our country is a challenge to the inheritance and development of traditional culutre.The growing demand of the public for pursuing spiritual culture submits new requirements to the design and planning of the public space envrionment of the historical and cultural blocks.The design of the envionment of historical and cultural blocks needs to be guided and assisted with design semiotics.And this is the background of the research stated in this paper.The research on the design of the historical and culutral block public space evrionment based on design semiotic theory is divided into four parts.First of all,both Chinese and foreign documents are extensively referred to so as to define the range of the study of historical and cultural blocks and public space,and also to establish the research methods.Secondly,the relationship between design semiotics and public space envrionment of historical cultural blocks has been investigated and contructed for further research.Thirdly,different geographical locations and historical and cultural blocks with cultural diversities are chosen as research subjects for the exploration of mutual current problems.These research subjets are analyzed in order to learn the experience of the reformation of these historical and culture blocks.Finally,combined with theoretical research and survey data,principle and strategies of design will be put forward in the improvement of the environment quality of the historical and cultural blocks.In this article,theoretical knowledge of design semiotics will be used in the renewal and reformation of historical and cultural blocks.The quality of the public space envrionment of the historical and cultural blocks will be highly concerned.The inheritance of history and culutre,the construction of place spirit and the revivification of the real history will be taked as the priority in the environmental design.With the creation and utilization of the coding system of design semiotics,the impact and function of the symbols in the inheritance and development of history and culture would definitely draw high attention.Thus,design semiotics will be widely and extensively used in the renewal and reform of the historical and cultural blocks.Design semiotics can be used to make up the lack of the renewal methods,provide quality reference in the development of historical and culutral blocks and to protect historical heritage.
