With the deepening of China’s urbanization,as well as the aggravation of natural disasters, accidents and emergencies in recent years, urban unconventional traffic travel activities are also increasing day by day.Emergency evacuation is the active avoidance of travel behavior in unconventional traffic travel activities. It is of great significance to protect people’s lives and property safety if we can respond quickly in the face of emergencies and formulate reasonable evacuation plans. This research focuses on the route choice model based on the mental accounting theory. The model can describe the route choice behavior of the evacuation driver to a certain extent, and can provide a basic theoretical support for the formulation of evacuation plan.Based on the decision-making process of mental accounting theory, this research constructs a three-stage decision-making framework for emergency evacuation route selection.Relevant concepts of mental accounting theory are introduced to explain the state of road network and the uncertainty of evacuees under the influence of emergency events, and the applicability of using mental accounting theory to study emergency evacuation is analyzed. At the micro level, the emergency evacuation route choice model based on mental accounting theory is constructed.Three time-related parameters were constructed to describe the uncertainty of road network and evacuees’ choice behavior, and mental utility values were constructed to describe route decision behavior based on hedonistic coding and transaction utility function in mental accounting theory. The validity of the model is verified by a numerical example, and the heterogeneity of evacuees’ route choice behavior is discussed by setting different parameters.Through the analysis of numerical examples, the mental accounting theory can well describe and explain the route choice behavior of evacuees.A dynamic emergency evacuation route choice model under uncertainty inducement information is constructed to describe evacuees’ road changing behavior by deepening the research on the micro individual level uncertainty. From the perspective of inductive information and evacuee uncertainty, the model was extended to the road section as the basis, and the evacuee’s midway road changing behavior was considered at the same time.On this basis, the node road changing strategy was improved. At the macro road network level,a random user equilibrium model for emergency evacuation based on mental accounting theory is constructed.Based on the heterogeneity of evacuees’ coding patterns, the mental accounting theory is extended to random user equilibrium conditions.Combined with the route choice behavior of heterogeneous evacuees, the traffic flow allocation problem in the emergency evacuation network is studied. Finally, two numerical examples are given to verify the influence of different parameter Settings on traffic equilibrium state, and the validity of the model is proved. This research attempts to study the problem of emergency evacuation route selection from the perspective of mental accounting theory, and the research results provide a new theoretical perspective for describing emergency evacuation route selection behavior, which can provide a certain basis and theoretical support for the formulation of evacuation plan.
