| In nowadays’ shipbuilding industry, ship requirements of ship performance, low energy consumption, environment friendly are getting higher and higher.Due to the high specific strength and specific stiffness of composite materials, and its excellent chemical corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, insulation performance, wave absorption and transmission performance,non-magnetic characteristics, widely used as hull structure materials. However, even though composite materials have many excellent properties, the hull structure is still dominated by metal materials, composite materials are mainly used for secondary load-bearing structures or non-bearing structures such as superstructures, masts, appendages, light bulkheads, and propellers. This paper analyzes and studies the structural form of the steel-composite connection joint, through its carrying capacity performance under different load conditions, choose the appropriate connection joint form, provide basis for future use of composite materials as hull structural materials.Through the comparison of finite element and experiment, studying the bearing capacity of the connection joint. In this paper, the Hashin criterion is selected as the criterion for steel-composite joints, which in essence is closer to the failure mode of composite materials. In the finite element simulation of the adhesive layer of the connection joint,a cohesive force model based on elastoplastic fracture mechanics is introduced, analysis of the load-bearing capacity of connected joints under tensile, bending, and low-speed impact conditions.Comparison of experimental data and finite element simulation data, first of all,it verified that the finite element simulation method is reasonable and feasible;secondly,in the tensile load, from the point of view of failure mode, the main factor affecting the tensile bearing capacity of the connected joint is the strength of the adhesive;thirdly,in the bending load, the structural form of the connection joint has a greater influence on its load-bearing capacity, finally,in the low-speed impact load, the impact area has a greater impact on its impact load capacity. This paper analyzes the three types of steel-composite connection joints,"Y-type","Ktype",and "H-type".It is concluded that under different bearing characteristics, bearing capacity characteristics of each connection joint, providing basis for the use of composite materials in different parts of the hull. The use of composite materials in the ship can better adapt to the force characteristics of various parts of the ship. |
