With the application of cranes in automated production,cranes are taking on an increasingly important role,and safety issues in the use of cranes have become increasingly prominent.The brake system is an important part of the modern crane operation control system,and it is also the most important safety guarantee system during operation.Especially in the special cranes that lift molten metal,the brake failure caused by the brake system failure often leads to major accidents resulting in huge loss of life and production property.Therefore,this article relies on the sub-project of the national key research and development plan "High-temperature molten metal transfer safety monitoring and early warning and anti-tilting technology and equipment research and development",aiming to provide reliable braking for high-temperature molten metal lifting by monitoring the pressure during braking Monitoring technology.In order to realize this monitoring technology,this research is based on flexible array pressure sensors and self-designed circuits to detect the force of the crane’s braking process.The signal processing platform uses STM32F407ZGT6,and the development software uses Keil5 to complete the voltage AD conversion.Algorithm converts voltage signal into intuitive pressure signal;Real-time communication based on Modbus bus through RS485 serial port,cyclic redundancy check in Modbus RTU mode to ensure the reliability of data transmission;Combine USB to RS485 module to transmit data to the detection system of upper position,and the consistency of the array unit through the algorithm.Finally,the electro-hydraulic drum brake was used on site to perform multiple tests to verify the correctness of the function and the rationality of the design.The stability of the sensor was verified through multiple tests.It is suitable for repeated use and can achieve real-time and accurate monitoring of the braking system force.The upper computer can analyze whether the braking force of the brake is abnormal in real time according to the collected data,and play an early warning function,so that the brake system failure can be detected early to achieve the purpose of ensuring safe production.
