BIM technology can significantly improve the quality of construction projects so the techndogy has attracted more and more construction companies’ attention.This paper mainly studies to solve the problem of low efficiency in building BIM structural foundation model encountered in the application of BIM technology in the construction of residential projects.When creating the basic model of the BIM structure,two BIM softwares,Revit and Tekla,are mainly used.First create the structural foundation model in the Revit software,and then import it into the Tekla software to create the steel reinforcement model in the structural foundation.On the one hand,when creating a structural basic model in Revit software,you encounter problems such as error-prone and low efficiency when modifying model parameters.On the other hand,when importing the structural basic model created in Revit software into Tekla software,part of the model information will be changed.Errors occur,and the error-prone model is random and unpredictable,which brings great difficulties to modifying the model.In response to the above problems,this article has developed a visualization plug-in for creating a basic model of the Revit structure,and an interface program for importing the structure foundation created by the Revit software into the Tekla software.The main research contents are as follows:(1)When creating a structural basic model in the Revit software,the interface for modifying model parameters cannot directly correspond to the corresponding model geometry.Technicians are prone to errors when creating model modified parameters,which seriously affects work efficiency.Based on the Revit API research and development,this paper has created interface plugins for 8 types of foundations: independent foundation,second-order independent foundation,third-order independent foundation,slope-type independent foundation,slope-shaped cup foundation,single-stage cup foundation,second-order cup foundation and pile foundation.The developed plug-in interface can intuitively reflect the parameters and corresponding geometric shapes in the creation interface,avoiding the need for technicians to open the corresponding model component creation interface for verification when modifying parameters,which can significantly improve the efficiency of model creation and reduce errors rate.(2)When importing the structural basic model created by Revit software into Tekla software,some model parameters will be lost,and the model geometry may even change.The loss of the above parameters or the change of the geometric model shape is random and unpredictable.Based on the research of Revit API and Tekla API,this paper develops an interface program for directly importing the basic model of Revit structure into Tekla software,which can ensure that the imported model parameters and geometric shapes are completely correct,and the time of direct import is much less than that of the IFC standard.Greatly improve the accuracy and efficiency of model import.(3)In view of the different BIM model standards and complex changes in actual projects,this paper develops a pre-processing program for the basic model of the Revit structure based on the Revit API,which can effectively screen the standard components and non-standard components of the Revit model.Make the interface developed in this article have stronger applicability.Finally,the plug-in,interface and interface pre-processing program developed in this article were verified in Taiyuan Beihan Village Urban Reconstruction Project.The plug-in can realize the rapid creation and parameter modification of different basic types,improve the efficiency of model creation,and reduce the error rate.The interface can accurately identify and filter structural basic models,so that the imported structural basic models are completely correct.
