In recent years,with the rapid advancement of urbanization,the population of urban residents in our country has kept growing.Correspondingly,the demand for water consumption has increased significantly.However,the problem of water shortage and water environmental pollution is still severe,and the contradiction between urban water supply and demand has become more serious.The urban water supply department is an indispensable part of water resources planning and management.The accurate and reasonable analysis and prediction of urban residents’ water consumption is an significant guarantee for meeting the balance of urban residents’ water demand.The changes in residential water consumption are affected by many factors.It is not only affected by short-term factors such as weather,holidays and working days,but also by long-term factors such as regional GDP,water prices,family population size and composition.This paper mainly analyzes the trend of water consumption from time dimensions such as year,season,month,week,and day,and analyzes the factors affecting water consumption changes considering short-term factors such as temperature,holidays,and working days.In response of the periodicity and uncertainty of water consumption changes,the paper build the SARIMA model and the BP neural network model respectively to forecast daily water consumption time series,and then to create the SARIMA-BPNN combined forecasting model by coupling the two forecasting models with the equal weight method.And taking two residential water districts in a certain place as an example,combined with the actual situation,to verify the SARIMA-BPNN model.The results show that the model can effectively predict the daily water consumption of the community,and has higher prediction accuracy than the single prediction model.On the basis of the research on the analysis and prediction of residential water consumption,the paper adopts the development model of separation of front and back ends to design and implement a residential water consumption analysis and prediction Web application system with functions such as login,homepage water consumption analysis and daily water consumption forecasting.Then the main function pages are displayed.Finally,functional and non-functional tests are carried out on the system through the designed test cases.The test results show that the system has complete functional modules,no serious logic errors,and good compatibility.It can provide decision-making basis for the optimization of the pipe network dispatching and pipe network layout of the water supply system,as well as the formulation of stepped water prices,and has certain economic benefits and social significance.
