Steering screw is the key component of automobile steering system,which can realize the transformation function from rotary motion to linear motion.Zhejiang Yiwu Tongxin Machinery Manufacturing Company in order to reduce manufacturing costs,improve production efficiency and improve economic benefits of enterprises,Decides to optimize the production process of automobile steering screw,the company’s main product.According to the existing automation production technology achievements,a new automobile steering screw automation production line is invested and studied.This paper focuses on the design and implementation of automatic steering screw production line.1.The development and current situation of automation manufacturing technology at home and abroad and the manufacturing status of automobile steering screw at home and abroad are analyzed.Summarize the research direction and hotspot of current automatic production technology.It is concluded that automated manufacturing technology needs further study on production scheduling and other issues.The research on production rhythm scheduling of automobile steering screw automation production line in this paper can provide a reference sample for the practical application of automation technology.2.Research on Automated Production Process of Steering Screw for Automobile.The traditional steering screw production line has a long processing process,many processing difficulties and many equipment needed.In order to improve production efficiency and economic benefits of enterprises.The company decided to make a detailed analysis of the steering screw processing technology,processing equipment,cutting tools and tools,Intensive and reasonable division of process routes is also made.Design a set of optimized steering screw processing scheme.3.Study the method of automatic production line rhythm dispatching and get the optimal target scheme.By establishing the mathematical model of multi-process assignment,An optimization method of rhythm scheduling on automatic production line based on genetic algorithm is proposed and simulated.4.Comparing and Analyzing the Advantages of Three Automated Production Layout Schemes,And according to the actual situation of the company workshop,Design U-type layout scheme of steering screw automatic production line.The design was discussed and simulated by the company’s expert group,The scheme has been adopted unanimously and put into production.The research content and direction of this paper are based on the needs of enterprises,It solves the problems of low production efficiency and economic benefit of enterprises.The research results will contribute to the development of science and technology innovation service platform for automobile and parts industry in Jinhua City,for the 13th Five-Year Plan for the Development of Equipment Manufacturing Industry in Zhejiang Province and the 2025 Strategy of Manufacturing in China,It has practical guidance and reference significance for relevant enterprises to upgrade their production transformation.
