With the continuous development of the levels on economy and technology,total power consumption of China has increased year by year.More and more water power resource has been converted to clean power energy through hydroelectric generating unit.In recent years,there is a new breakthrough in the capacity of hydro-generator unit,which plays a more and more important role in the power grid.As a large rotating machine,how to monitor the status of the hydro-generator set accurately,find out the defects and eliminate the hidden danger in time has become a very important work for the majority of power technical workers.The structure of unit power generation system is complex.The whole power generation process contains multiple links of the water storage of the reservoir,the diversion of the tunnel,the operation of the unit,the power transmission and transformation,and so on.And there are many factors that may cause abnormal vibration of the unit in these links,causing the vibration mechanism to be complex.Abnormal vibration not only threatens the stability and safety of the equipment,but also has a serious impact on the personal safety of workers and the stability of power supply in power grid.Therefore,it will be very necessary to monitor the vibration status of the unit.This paper describes the background and significance of the research on vibration monitoring of hydro-generator sets.Taking Unit 1 of a power station in Zhejiang Province as the research object,it analyzes the mechanism of generating vibration fault from three aspects,including mechanical,hydraulic and electromagnetic based on the structure and principle of hydro-generator set.The characteristic frequency of unit vibration is obtained,and the methods of time domain analysis and frequency spectrum analysis are introduced.Based on this,the paper puts forward the framework of vibration monitoring and diagnosis system,the hardware and software composition of the system,designs and implements the vibration monitoring and diagnosis system of the unit.Through sampling the operation data of each part of the unit,the vibration fault of the unit is diagnosed and analyzed by the above three methods step by step,and the corresponding fault diagnosis results are obtained,combining the characteristics of the three methods of time domain,frequency spectrum and frequency cascade diagram.At the same time,the system collects and records the status data of the unit,saves the important original information of the unit,provides technical support for the operation,maintenance and overhaul of the unit,and creates conditions for realizing the "repair based on condition of components" of the unit.
