With the rapid development of high-speed railways in China,the technical requirements of information,automation and intelligence are put forward for power supply system of electric traction,so as to ensure the safe,reliable and efficient operation of the trains.Power supply department of China Railway Hohhot Group Co.,Ltd.,aiming at "laying a solid foundation for reaching the standard and improving the quality as well as efficiency ",actively play its professional role by seizing the opportunity of substation unmanned transformation.With the standardized construction as the main line,the industry improves its equipment quality,polishes its rules,strengthens its operational management,and continues to promote its reform of power transformation regulations.The research object here was the unmanned and intelligent transformation in the eastern Hohhot substation of the Beijing-Baotou passenger transport,which was the first high-speed railway line of China Railway Hohhot Group Co.,Ltd.The intelligent technology of substations and its applicability in traction substations were studied.Compared with traditional substations,the smart traction substations enjoyed the advantages of high information sharing,low comprehensive construction cost,safety and reliability,and environmental friendliness,etc.The research process and results are as follows:Intelligent working conditions of the substation were obtained.The structure and supporting facilities of the traction substation were then investigated and analyzed.A targeted reinforcement plan was proposed considering the functional characteristics of the facilities before the upgrade.Ensuring the power transmission and transformation functions of the original traction substation,the formulation and implementation of management systems as well as production methods for the intelligent unmanned substation were studied.Intelligent demand analysis and configuration modeling scheme of the substation on Beijing-Baotou passenger line were proposed.Since 24-hour real-time monitoring could not be achieved for this substation,demand analysis and configuration modeling were conducted on its unmanned intelligent system according to 11 subsystems including the integrated monitoring,comprehensive alarm,linkage control,automatic control,video monitoring,security protection,environmental monitoring,infrared temperature measurement,automatic fire alarm,communication interface,3D real scene BIM model.The unmanned intelligent system for typical substations were developed,tested,tired and applied.Safety monitoring and intelligent software were proposed for substations,with the principles of energy saving,easy use,expansibility,unity and high reliability for each step.It has the advantages of high information sharing,low comprehensive construction cost,safety and reliability,and environmental friendliness,etc.The foundation for operation,maintenance and management of the intelligent substations was laid.The environmental factors that affected the stable operation of the main station equipment were analyzed.Regular inspection regulations as well as the operation procedures for starting and stopping the main station system were proposed.The method of maintaining communication network equipment was studied.When the network failed,corresponding emergency procedures should be carried out according to different situations.This study was expected to provide the basis and application demonstration for the intelligentization of traction substations.
