| With the rapid development of the information age,the pressure of study, life and work has increased, and people’s sleep problems are becoming more and more prominent, gradually becoming the focus of society. As a result, the sleep aid industry has emerged and the importance people attach to sleep problems has gradually increased, the market demand is also expanding, and intelligent sleep aid products are gradually accepted by the public. However, there are still some problems with existing products in terms of functionality and interactive behaviour. The aim of this study is to solve the problems of low comfort, easy loss and inability to accurately determine the user’s sleep status leading to secondary waking,to maximise the user’s needs and improve the user experience. This study addresses the problems of existing products and the application of corresponding sleep monitoring technologies, combining user characteristics and needs to provide a more efficient and accurate interaction method for sleep aid products and a more comfortable human-computer interaction experience for users. The research was carried out by studying the target users of sleep aids, exploring their needs and characteristics, and analysing, collating and translating the findings through a qualitative and quantitative approach. In the early stage of the research, the current situation of the sleep aid industry was combined with a systematic study of the types of existing sleep aid products, their functions, usage patterns and related technologies,so as to analyse the pain points of existing products and identify the target users. At a later stage, the integrated methods of AHP,QFD and FBS were used as theoretical support to integrate the process into the design of the sleep aid products. In the course of the study, firstly, the initial user requirements are collected through user questionnaires and interviews;then the KJ method is used for cluster analysis to initially filter the user requirements;AHP is used to calculate the weight of the filtered user requirements and rank them to derive the main elements of user requirements and establish a user requirement hierarchy model;then the correlation matrix between the user requirements and the features of the sleep aid product is established through QFD to transform the user requirements into design Then, the derivation from design requirements to functions is completed, and the mapping process from functions to behaviours(F-B)and behaviours to structures(B-S)is carried out;finally, the design solution is determined and the research results are output to realise the transformation from user requirements to design results. The integration of the AHP,QFD and FBS models improves the disadvantages of the AHP approach to innovative design on the one hand, and the shortcomings of the FBS model in the acquisition and analysis of requirements on the other, while taking advantage of the QFD in the transformation of design elements. The strengths and weaknesses of the three complement each other, solving the problems encountered in their respective product design applications and providing a new and feasible reference for intelligent product design methods. The findings of the study show that music is the most popular method of sleep aid in terms of users’ choice of sleep aid;and that functional and ergonomic needs are of greater concern in terms of users’ demand for sleep aid products. Therefore, this study proposes a design of intelligent sleep aid products based on the user’s sleep characteristics model based on the research and analysis results of the target users, and constructs an interaction method that is more in line with the user’s psychological behavioural characteristics, which has certain reference value for the design research of intelligent sleep aid products. |
