Study On The Regional Characteristics Of Traditional Village Buildings Along Xiaohe Ancient Road

Xiaohe ancient road is a large channel connecting the Central Plains and Lingnan areas in China.It is a comprehensive transportation network of water and land,which is composed of two main lines and many branches between the East and the west,which connects the south of Hunan and Northeast Guangxi.Xiaohe ancient road began in Qin Dynasty.Each dynasty was constantly improved and matured in Ming and Qing Dynasties.It played an important role in military politics,cultural exchanges,population migration and trade exchanges,and was a cultural line with profound cultural heritage.Xiaohe ancient road is widely used.This paper takes the land part of the west line as the research scope.There are many ancient villages along the west line,and the residential houses are well preserved and the research value is high.Taking the basic type system and characteristics of the residential buildings as the research content,the paper analyzes and summarizes the causes of the regional characteristics of the residential buildings along the Xiaohe ancient road.Firstly,through the combination of literature research and field investigation,the natural environment,historical evolution and human environment of Xiaohe ancient road are introduced,and the geographical environment and cultural atmosphere of the residential buildings along the Xiaohe ancient road are described.On this basis,the paper determines the principle and research method of case selection,and selects 6villages with good preservation from the villages along Xiaohe ancient road for field investigation.Secondly,this paper first studies villages from the macro level,analyzes the layout and morphological characteristics of the villages along Xiaohe ancient road,and studies the influence of trade on the villages.Then,the paper makes a field investigation on the residential buildings from the micro level,and summarizes the basic type system,plane construction elements and space organization and construction form of the civil residence buildings.Finally,the paper makes a comparative analysis of the causes of the regional characteristics of the residential buildings along the Xiaohe ancient road.It is mainly affected by five aspects: geographical environment and geomancy,basic requirements of residential buildings,cultural exchanges between regions,influence of multicultural,and influence of trade and trade.The residential buildings along Xiaohe ancient road have formed relevance under the influence of local natural environment,human environment and economic conditions,and showed strong regional characteristics.Based on the field investigation,this paper analyzes the relationship between the residential buildings on the macro and micro levels,and analyzes the similarities and differences of the residential buildings along the Xiaohe ancient road.The paper also analyzes the influencing factors from the aspects of residential buildings,cultural background and trade exchanges,so as to provide a research basis for the research and protection of the residential buildings along Xiaohe ancient road Foundation.
