High G braking condition,as a special condition often encountered by high speed vehicle drivers, such as pilots,Formula car drivers, etc.,has certain harm to the driver’s neck structure.Drivers of high-speed vehicles work under high G braking conditions for a long time, and the probability of neck soft tissue injuries such as muscles and ligaments, intervertebral disc degeneration and cervical fracture is significantly increased.Aiming at the high G braking conditions of human head and neck muscles initiative on the research for the effects of neck injury, three volunteers convened, static load experiment, carried out to explore the human body neck surface muscle, including sternocleidomastoid and trapezius muscle, around in human cervical anteflexion, after stretching, the lateral bending motion, the degree of muscle activation and the relationship between the active contraction force produced by neck muscles. At the same time,a real vehicle braking experiment was carried out on one of the subjects.Under the real emergency braking condition, the effects of different head mass and whether the subjects pre-tense the muscles on the muscle response time and activation time of the superficial neck muscles were explored. Finally,on the basis of the existing finite element model of human head and neck, the activation curve of the active contraction unit of neck muscle was defined based on the results obtained from the above experiments, and the real braking waveform of high G braking condition was used as the input to carry out the simulation. The simulation results show that the high G braking condition will improve drivers neck suffer the risk of long-term damage, neck muscle tension in advance before the brake at the same time, can effectively improve the stability of the neck, lower high G brake head center of mass in the process of acceleration and movement range,in order to achieve the effect of reducing neck injury, for the high speed vehicle driving personnel daily training and restraints of design has a certain reference value.
