In recent years,with the rapid development of China’s high-speed rail,the requirements of railway track safety and reliability are increasing.With the extension of the railway line,the increasing number of trains and the perennial overload of railway transportation lead to rail corrugation on the top of the rail,which not only directly affects the running speed and comfort level of the train,but also leads to severe noise and loss of train wheel,and even endangers the traffic safety.In order to adapt to the complexity of the working environment,and to achieve the convenience of system operation,the accuracy and reliability of measurement and other standards,this thesis puts forward the design plan of portable rail corrugation measuring instrument by investigating the current status of rail corrugation measuring equipment in the current market,and combined with the embedded system,design and realize the development of the software and hardware of the overall system.Finally,an experimental platform was built to verify the practicability of system functions and the reliability of measurement accuracy.Firstly,this thesis puts forward the design scheme of portable rail corrugation measuring instrument by investigating the current status of rail corrugation measuring equipment in the current market.The non-contact laser displacement sensor is used to realize automatic measurement of the corrugation of three types of rails of 50kg/m,60kg/m and 75kg/m.The measurement data is transmitted to the measurement software via Wi Fi for data processing,display and storage.The software provides users with historical data query and analysis functions.The measurement results can be directly used as a reference for rail quality maintenance.Secondly,combined with the embedded system,design and realize the development of the software and hardware of the overall system.The hardware part is composed of five parts: control module,communication module,motor driving module,data acquisition module and power conversion module;software includes lower computer software based on STM32 microcontroller and upper computer measurement software based on Windows operating system.This dissertation uses modular ideas to implement motor control,data communication,data processing and analysis,interactive interface and data management modules step by step.The motor driving module uses trapezoidal acceleration and deceleration control algorithms to ensure fast and stable operation of the motor.The data acquisition module uses median filter method to remove noise and reduce system measurement errors.The upper computer software uses a database to realize the storage and management of large amounts of data.Finally,build an experimental platform to verify the practicability of system functions and the reliability of measurement accuracy.The measurement results show that the functions of the portable rail corrugation measuring instrument designed in this thesis meet the design requirements,and the instrument is easy to operate,the measurement data accuracy is high,the system software is stable and reliable,the interface is friendly,the function is comprehensive,and it meets the needs of on-site measurement work.
