In recent years,with the continuous development and progress of the society,the demand for energy is increasing,and the traditional fossil energy is constantly consumed,while the development and utilization of new energy is particularly important.As solar energy has the advantages of no pollution,easy access and abundant energy,it stands out among the emerging energy sources and has attracted wide attention from all over the world.Therefore,countries have begun to study photovoltaic power generation technology to achieve the most effective use of solar energy.This paper compares and analyzes the conventional maximum power point tracking technology algorithm in the photovoltaic power generation system,and selects the simplest operation algorithm and the most reasonable scheme algorithm to carry out circuit design,and uses MATLAB simulation to verify the conclusion.This paper first introduces the research background,purpose and significance of photovoltaic power generation technology,and analyzes the situation of photovoltaic power generation at home and abroad and the countermeasures to promote the sustainable development of photovoltaic power generation technology in China.Then,from the perspective of solar cell,the type and working principle of the cell are described,and the output characteristics are analyzed by using the mathematical model.In addition,this paper introduces the basic principle of the maximum power point tracking of photovoltaic power generation,and compares several traditional maximum power tracking algorithms: disturbance observation method,constant pressure method,three-point comparison method,incremental conductance method,and details the advantages and disadvantages of each algorithm.Finally,through comparison and analysis,using the improved incremental conductance method,MATLAB is used to analyse the circuit design and simulation,when the external environment such as light intensity and environment temperature changes,the system can be in a very short period of time to reach maximum power point,and the system output power to peak after shaking is very small,strong stability,better to complete the system of maximum power point tracking tasks.
