Resarch On The Design Of Public Toilets In Parks Under The Background Of Park City

Under the background of "toilet revolution",advocating the construction of "Park City" and higher and higher requirements for human settlements,public toilets in urban parks,as the most basic public facilities in urban parks,are not only places to meet people’s physiological needs,but also an important part of the park environment.Public toilets in urban parks are one of the key factors affecting the overall environmental quality of urban parks,and their high-level design is of great significance to the construction of urban parks and the improvement of urban public services.But at present,the design of public toilets in urban parks is not satisfactory,which can not fully meet people’s higher-level needs.Therefore,in order to achieve high-quality construction and high-quality development of park public toilets,we need to take the concept of Park City as the support to seek a new direction of park public toilet design.First of all,by combing the research status of Park City and public toilet at home and abroad,we find that there are still some areas that need to be improved in the existing research.Secondly,it explores the origin and development of the concept of Park City,analyzes the core connotation and design characteristics of the theory in detail,and introduces the relevant basic theories such as organic architecture,ecological architecture,critical regionalism,Maslow’s demand,etc.as the theoretical basis of this paper.Then,the design of public toilets in the park is deeply analyzed,the types and attribute characteristics of public toilets in the park are analyzed,the main influencing factors of public toilets in the park are identified,and the space elements of public toilets in the park are extracted.Then,the status quo of public toilets in 10 parks in Chengdu was investigated,and the problems in site design,space design and technology application were found;At the same time,30 typical excellent cases of public toilets at home and abroad are investigated online to provide case study support for the design strategy of this paper.On the basis of theory and case study,it is concluded that the design of public toilets in parks should follow the design principles of environmental integrity,humanization,highlighting regional characteristics and ecological priority,and the design strategies of site design,space design and technology application of public toilets in parks are summarized.Finally,taking the public toilet design of Tianfu Fourth Street Sports Park in Chengdu and the public toilet design of Yongchuan Riverside Park in Chongqing as examples,the proposed design strategy is applied in practice,and the feasibility of the strategy is demonstrated,so as to provide reference for the practical design of public toilets in the park.
