In the context of new urbanization,“industrial new town” has become one of the main ways to promote the development of urbanization in China.However,the construction of new industrial town at this stage is facing many problems,such as unreasonable land development intensity,high-load operation of transportation infrastructure and so on.The incoordination between urban land use and transportation system needs to be improved urgently.In view of this,considering the travel characteristics of new industrial town,this paper proposes a multimode traffic demand forecasting method,and constructs a model calculating carrying capacity of multi-mode traffic network.On this basis,the optimization method of land development intensity and traffic carrying capacity is studied.Firstly,the concept and characteristics of new industrial town are discussed,and the interactive relationship between land use and transportation system is analyzed.Based on land use,travel purpose and travel accessibility,traffic generation model and traffic distribution model are established respectively.Considering the combined travel characteristics,generalized travel cost function and the method of discriminating effective path are proposed based on multi-mode super network.Furthermore,traffic assignment model based on stochastic user equilibrium is constructed and its solution algorithm is presented.Secondly,the definition and influencing factors of traffic carrying capacity are clarified.From the perspective of space-time resource consumption,the expressions of total space-time resources and individual space-time resource consumption of public transportation network,car network,non-motorized vehicle network and pedestrian network are proposed respectively,and then the method of calculating carrying capacity of each traffic subnet is formed.Subsequently,considering the characteristics of multi-mode travel and the degree of utilization of traffic network by individual in reality,a multi-mode integrated model to calculate traffic carrying capacity is estabilished.Then,the relationship between multi-mode traffic carrying capacity and land development intensity is explored.Considering that the insufficient supply of public transportation network in reality is more likely to restrict the development of transportation system,this paper focuses on the public transportation network in multi-mode network and the optimization model of its layout is established,which realizes the purpose of optimizing the carrying capacity of transportation system.On this basis,a bi-level programming model for land development intensity optimization is constructed and the corresponding solution algorithm is proposed.The objective function of the upper model that takes the traffic carrying capacity as a constraint is to maximize the traffic demand during peak hours,and the lower model is a traffic assignment model based on stochastic user equilibrium.Finally,Shandong Heavy Industrial town is selected as the object of the empirical research.Based on the theoretical methods mentioned above,the relationship between the industrial town’s land development intensity and the traffic carrying capacity of multi-mode network is established.In the aspect of optimizing the carrying capacity of public transportation network,based on the prediction of the expected demand of public transportation,the optimization scheme of bus line layout is solved.In terms of optimizing the intensity of land development,a bi-level programming model is constructed with the traffic carrying capacity of multi-mode network as a constraint to solve the optimal scheme.This solution not only meets the traffic demand of the industrial town during morning and night peak hours,but also makes full use of the space-time resources of the public transportation network and the car network,and the relationship between transportation supply and demand of the new industrial town is further coordinated.
