| The higher education of China has gradually entered the connotative development stage from the previous stage of educational popularization,as well as the rapid development of science and technology, the learning methods of college students have also undergone tremendous changes.Informal learning has become more and more important. The demand for informal learning spaces continues to increase. However, the current space is universally faced with problems such as shortage of land caused by the expansion of universities, and it is necessary to study the optimization design mode of informal learning spaces in universities. This article focuses on the existing informal learning space in the teaching areas of universities in Nanjing.Through two dimensions,a top-down spatial macroscopic perspective and a bottom-up user’s personal perspective,it comprehensively explores the current different types of informal learning space, mainly using surveys, questionnaires and experiments. It is divided into three parts:Part Ⅰ: Through the literature review and the case investigation, informal learning space is divided into four types, and the spatial components of informal learning spaces are sorted out.Based on the four types and the spatial components,it provides basic framework for the follow-up research.Part Ⅱ: After investigating the informal learning space of colleges and universities in Nanjing, select six typical informal learning spaces in four types in Southeast University.Users’ evaluation data are obtained through questionnaires, quantitative data of non-material components are measured and collected, such as thermal environment, light environment and acoustic environment. And entered the laboratory to explore the material components of those informal learning spaces to obtain the corresponding eye movement data and subjective evaluation data, and then discuss and analyze the above different types of data, and draw corresponding optimal focuses.Part Ⅲ: Coordinate and guide the optimization design of the four types of informal learning space, and propose corresponding optimization strategies for each component. Then they are applied to the practical project of optimization and promotion of public space in the School of Civil Engineering of Southeast University, and verify them which provided reference and guidance for the practical application of the optimal design strategies obtained. The research aims to establish a relatively complete and unique framework and method of researching informal learning space, and provide new ideas for the research on the optimal design mode of informal learning space in universities. The full text is about 96,000 words, with a total of 230 pictures and charts. |
