Urban Design Strategy Research Of Urban Life Shoreline From The Perspective Of Livable City

Living by water is a common feature of urban origin from ancient times to the present.The waterfront can also have the attributes of life,production and ecology,which are divided into different leading functions.As a kind of waterfront dominated by life function,urban life shoreline is not only closely related to social activities and people’s life,but also an important carrier of urban culture.With the advent of the post industrial era,"waterfront returning to life" has become a new trend of urban livability construction.The potential of urban living waterfront in improving people’s livelihood environment,highlighting urban characteristics and enhancing urban energy level has been revealed,and it has become one of the important carriers of improving the livability of many cities.But at present,there are still some problems such as the lack of planning and design,the lack of technical methods and so on.In this context,this study intends to explore the urban design strategy of urban life shoreline from the perspective of livable city.In the first chapter,through the background discussion,concept definition and literature review,the research intention is clarified.In the first chapter,the paper defines the research problems,research objects and research perspectives,and defines the research intention.Through concept analysis,the connotation and research focus of urban life shoreline are clarified,that is,urban life shoreline is the most closely combined with human daily activities and the closest to natural waters in physical space.Its planning and construction focus on the construction of hydrophilic places and the optimization of human water interaction,so as to create a pleasant and beautiful hydrophilic environment,The core research content is to improve the residents’ well-being;On the basis of literature,this paper expounds the five principles of the construction of livable urban physical environment: human environment-continuation of context and highlighting of characteristics;Urban transportation: efficient access and friendly travel;Service facilities: the function is for the people,convenient and convenient;Urban landscape--beautiful and harmonious,dense and coherent;Ecological environment clean air,clean water and green city.In the second chapter,the basic problems of urban life shoreline are deeply studied.By reviewing the value evolution of urban life shoreline,this paper expounds the value evolution of urban life shoreline from " Available" to "livable" in the new era;From four aspects of natural attributes,landscape attributes,human attributes and structural attributes,this paper discusses that urban life shoreline plays an important role in protecting the health of urban ecological environment,enriching urban landscape space,extending historical context and influencing urban structure;This paper sorts out the types of activities in the city’s life shoreline,and points out that the rich life shoreline activities are the excellent embodiment of the vitality of livable cities;Finally,combined with specific cases,this paper expounds the five major problems existing in the construction process of the current urban living shoreline: ecological imbalance,landscape disorder,cultural distortion,poor traffic and inconvenient service.In the third chapter,the paper summarizes the successful experience of urban life shoreline construction from the perspective of livable city through precedent analysis,and clarifies the construction content of design strategy.Based on the principle of precedent selection and analysis framework,this paper summarizes the experience of urban living shoreline planning and design from five aspects of ecological maintenance,context continuation,landscape design,traffic organization and functional layout,such as environmental improvement as the premise,space driven as the goal,and cultural heritage as the connotation.In addition,these precedents adjust the design strategies according to the local conditions when they are involved in the design of different functional types of living shorelines,forming more targeted design responses: for example,focusing on improving the traffic convenience and enhancing the field of vision permeability for the business office shoreline;In view of the commercial and entertainment coastline,it is necessary to highlight the distinctive features and ensure the continuity of the interface;For the park’s recreational shoreline,it focuses on highlighting the environmental naturalness and enhancing the landscape richness;For the residential and commuting shoreline,it is important to ensure the accessibility of travel and enhance the flexibility of layout.In the fourth chapter,from the perspective of livable city,the paper puts forward five strategies for urban design of urban living shoreline,including: Ecological Restoration Strategy of respecting nature,continuation strategy of ancient and modern shoreline context,convenient shoreline traffic guidance strategy,scenic hierarchy strategy and multiple shoreline function organization strategy.In the fifth chapter,the paper takes Nanshi River in Changzhou as an example,and focuses on the feasibility of the above urban design principles and strategies.This study focuses on the urban living shoreline,a special type of waterfront,introduces and draws on the analysis framework and evaluation system of the theory of livable city.Combined with the study of typical cases at home and abroad,this paper puts forward the design strategy of urban living shoreline from the perspective of livable city,and carries out empirical research and design based on the actual situation of Changzhou nanshaihe river,In order to provide reference for the same type of urban living shoreline space design.
