Ultrasonic nondestructive testing is one of the important methods in the field of nondestructive testing.In order to meet the diversified needs of the market for ultrasonic testing equipment,a modular design plan for the ultrasonic testing system is proposed.The circuit and PCB of each module are designed,the FPGA digital logic of the system and test software are designed,and the design results are tested and analyzed.Based on the structural characteristics of pulse reflection digital ultrasonic nondestructive testing system and the design goals of system,the system hardware is divided into multiple subsystems such as multi-channel ultrasonic acquisition board and embedded board by the module division method oriented to the design perspective,and further divided into several modules.The circuit of analog front-end module,USB communication module,transmitting and receiving module in the multi-channel ultrasonic acquisition board are designed,the core board is selected and the peripheral interface in the embedded board is designed.Based on the theory of signal integrity and power integrity,the HDMI high-speed digital interface circuit in the PCB and the FPGA core power network are simulated and analyzed.The signal eye diagram at the output interface meets the specification standards when the HDMI interface outputs a 1920×1080 @60Hz video;the FPGA core power network has an impedance of less than 50 m Ohm in the frequency range of 1KHz to 70 MHz.Based on the module division scheme of the hardware circuit,FPGA digital logic is divided into multiple modules.The digital logic of USB communication module and flow control module based on FPGA are designed.The timing of the USB communication module is analyzed and optimized,and it can run up to a clock frequency of 148 MHz.The test software is designed to test system performance.Several electrical performance indicators of the system and communication interface performance are tested.The electrical performance of the system,such as the repetition frequency of the transmitted pulse,the transmitted pulse voltage,the recoil of the transmitted pulse,the frequency response of the amplifier,the equivalent input noise,and the net gain,are in line with industry standards,USB3.0interface communication rate up to 142MB/s.
