Access management is a method that coordinates and controls site selection,layout,design method of facilities such as access channels,medians,interchanges,and intersections in order to ensure vehicles leaving or entering the accesses safely,smoothly and orderly,which effectively solves the plight of road access through modern traffic management technology and methodology.At present,unreasonable accesses settings exist in secondary trunk roads in many cities in China.The public security traffic administration often implements various traffic management measures,and how to choose the appropriate traffic management measures for of different accesses respectively within a certain area,to improve the traffic in the region has become the key problem.Firstly,this study introduces the research background,purpose and significance of access management,summarizes and evaluates the research status at home and abroad,and then clarifies the research content and technical route of the study.The study analyses the influence mechanism of secondary trunk road accesses on traffic safety and traffic operation,introduces the three common access traffic management measures yielding control,right-in and right-out and lane combination and traffic data survey scheme,and uses unmanned aerial vehicle(UAV)technology and analysis software Tracker to obtain measured data.Secondly,the study establishes a system evaluating the benefits of multiple accesses management benefits,which incorporates traffic conflict rate,road capacity,system travel cost and driveway spacing on secondary trunk roads.Based on the measured data,curve fitting is carried out in SPSS to establish the traffic conflict rate model and the road capacity model under the influence of the accesses.Calculation method of system travel cost is introduced to measure the impact of the change of traffic management measures on travel time,and is applied to calculate the recommended value of driveway spacing on secondary trunk roads.In the end,based on the bi-level optimization model,a multiple accesses management efficiency evaluation model is established using traffic conflict rate,capacity and travel cost as evaluation system to evaluate the advantage of traffic management measures on all access within a certain area,thus screen out relatively optimal traffic management measures.Combined with the actual cases in Yantai,the model is applied to choose relatively optimal solution among the optimization schemes as the final scheme of optimizing the access traffic management measures,and Vissim simulation is used for verification.The results show that the deviation between the model predictions and simulation values is less than 10%,and the model can objectively select suitable traffic management measures for multiple accesses within a certain area.The model can not only screen out reasonable traffic management measures for accesses on built secondary trunk roads,optimize traffic efficiency,but also calculate the reasonable number and location of accesses in the road networks to be built,which provides reference for the traffic management and traffic planning of public security.
