With the rapid development of China’s national economy, China’s slowly entering the stage of urbanization. Since the 1990s, continue to enter the rural labor economy more developed coastal cities, cities have been expanding, the implementation of the urbanization strategy has become a major means of promoting social progress. With the acceleration of urbanization, transportation role is getting bigger, the problem faced by more and more. Urbanized areas need to improve the transportation infrastructure to guarantee fast and convenient transportation system. "Fast" requires mainline vehicles quickly through villages, towns, parks and other densely populated areas; "convenient" requires the main line of the vehicle with the surrounding land quickly convert traffic, let the surrounding vehicles can easily enter the main line of "fast" channel, both both unified and contradictory.This article looks at the rapid development of urbanization rate national and provincial roads, first introduced the background and significance of the subject, raised the issue and the lack of level crossing design such areas exist, then block level crossing regional planning, set up in the form of intersection, when intersections with spacing design, diversion island design, U-turn, the access control function areas, median type and other aspects of content and access management technology combined with depth, made a series of specific design, improvements, and into verified by engineering example for the future of road design provides reference experience.
