At present,it has become a trend in China to build a single centralized terminal building for large airports at one time.In order to balance the length of the apron and the walking distance of passengers,airport planners and designers mainly adopt the radial finger corridor terminal configuration.However,the length,angle and number of finger corridors of this type of configuration may have different effects on the efficiency of airport ground operation.To address this issue,this study first summarizes the shape characteristics and general features of domestic large airport terminals.Secondly,by studying relevant norms and domestic and foreign literature,an index system is constructed based on the main principles of land use intensification and operational efficiency,and then a mathematical evaluation model is established for the radio logical configuration comparison analysis of large airport terminals.The data of each index of the domestic airport terminal area index 6 is substituted into the model for calculation,and the results are analyzed in depth and reasonably to summarize the advantages and disadvantages of each terminal.Based on the results of the terminal configuration analysis,the quantitative relationships and correlations between the length of the finger corridor,the number of finger corridor grip angles,the number of near-aircraft stands,the taxiing time of aircraft,and the floor area of the finger corridor and near-aircraft stands were studied to determine the reasonable finger corridor grip angle values and the configuration of the target airport terminal.On the basis of the above study,the scale of key facilities such as the number of near-airport apron spaces and the floor area of the terminal building are predicted assuming a certain passenger throughput,and then the overall scheme is designed.Finally,the SIMMOD simulation model is applied to formulate the simulation objectives,build the key subsystems such as station apron system and taxiing system,and use the average ground delay time,average taxiing time and taxiing conflict of inbound and outbound flights as the main simulation output performance indexes,and analyze the simulation results.The results show that the comprehensive level of the self-designed radial configuration terminal solution is superior and the airport ground operation efficiency level is in the efficient operation category.
