Research On ECU Quality Improvement Strategy In Jing Wei Co.,Ltd.

In the face of the booming development of the global auto industry and the rapid increase of global auto parts manufacturers,the competition between auto parts companies has intensified;and with the coronavirus disease and continuation of the global outbreak,there has been a shortage of many key raw materials,and the shutdown of parts factories has occurred frequently,from the customer side,it is impossible to meet the order demand,resulting in customer dissatisfaction.From the perspective of shareholders,the income has been greatly affected;and then there is the transitions of the vehicle market demand from fuel to electric,which does not affect the fuel parts and components enterprises everywhere,and many companies continue to survive difficultly and abandon fuel-related businesses.Facing many pressures and crises,how to improve enterprises and how to maintain sustainable development of their own competitiveness? It is an urgent problem to be solved.High-quality products are precisely one of the core factors to promote the competitiveness of companies etc.,this paper takes Jing Wei Company,a large-scale and well-improved auto parts company with a better-quality management system,as the researched object,and conducts a study on the product quality improvement strategy of its electronic control unit（ECU）.It aims to enhance quality management level and the competitiveness of enterprises,and at the same time provide a certain reference information for the competitiveness of other vehicle parts companies.Regarding of the research topic,mainly elaborated as below,The first part mainly introduces the research background and research significance,research content and methods,then explains the importance of quality improvement for enterprises to reduce quality costs,improve the customer’s satisfaction,at the same time share resources as an information data base.Also summarize total quality management theory and the current situation of the auto parts industry in recent years.The second part introduces the ECU principle and function etc.and sorts out the quality management status and summarizes the current state and relevant problems of ECU quality management.The third part,through the experimental design method,quantitative analysis method,and qualitative analysis method,and literature research method,according to the aspect of quality management elements,research the current problems of ECU quality and the root causes are analyzed systematically,and the opportunities for quality improvement are sought and studied accordingly.Finally,with the manufacture process as the main line,raised up the strategy of improving ECU quality base on the root cause.The improvement process follows the Deming management theory（PDCA）to achieve quality improvement goals of ECU,enhance ECU quality management level,and promote the competitiveness of Matrix Partners.The research topics of this paper are elaborated from four parts: the first part introduces the research background and research significance,research content and research methods of the topic,and explains the importance of quality improvement for enterprises to reduce quality costs,improve customer satisfaction,and share resource information database by analyzing the current situation of the auto parts industry in recent years and the actual situation of quality management of the electronic control unit of Jingwei Company.At the same time,the theory of total quality management and the research results of domestic and foreign scholars at this stage are also summarized.The second part introduces the product principle and function of the electronic control unit of Jingwei Company,carefully sorts out the product quality management status from the four major processes of the company’s product manufacturing according to the comprehensive management theory,and classifies and identifies the quality management status quo,and then summarizes the relevant quality management problems that currently exist.The third part uses four research methods,experimental design method,quantitative analysis method,qualitative analysis method and literature research method,according to the quality management elements of man-machine material law ring,systematically analyze the problems and causes of problems in the quality management of the manufactured electronic control unit products and continue to look for and study opportunities for quality management level improvement.The fourth part is based on total quality management theory,with the four major processes of quality management required for product manufacturing as the main line,the strategy research is carried out according to the quality management factors,and the quality management improvement strategy is proposed by taking the electronic control unit product as an example.The implementation process is based on the management theory of Deming Ring（PDCA）,through the gradual realization of the improvement of quality goals,and then gradually improve the quality management level and market competitiveness of Matrix Partners and promote the sustainable development of enterprises.
