The outline of the 14th five years plan for national economic and social development of the people’s Republic of China and the outline of the national development vision for 2035 mentioned that we should build a new journey of building a comprehensive socialist modern country,improve the ability of common governance and improve the well-being of people’s livelihood.Packaging is the inevitable product of society and economy.Its development and evolution are closely related to people’s life.Under the background of the new era,packaging design pays more and more attention to the actual needs of consumers,extends the functions of packaging,and highlights the characteristics of humanization in packaging through the design full of humanistic care,so as to provide better packaging experience for vulnerable consumer groups and make practical efforts to promote the development of people’s livelihood in China.Object is the carrier of packaging,which participates in the whole process of product circulation,storage,transportation,sales and use.Realizing the functionality of things is the embodiment of packaging design.Barrier free packaging design is to provide consumers with better packaging services and strive to balance the contradiction between people’s various needs and the objective reality of packaging.Barrier free packaging design is a new concept of packaging design that focuses on vulnerable consumer groups and pays attention to the elderly,people with weakened body functions and human groups with different environment and language backgrounds.Using the research methods of system theory and design,this paper closely focuses on the target group-vulnerable consumers to explore the internal and external driving factors of barrier free packaging design.This paper summarizes the evolution of barrier free packaging design from material stage to non-material field,from passive design to active presentation,from single media to multi-media coexistence,from humanism to humanized care.The specific visual optimization methods of concise font design,reasonable arrangement,accurate graphic language,concrete description,effective color information and enhanced contrast are obtained;Combined with tactile tips,strengthen behavior guidance,improve the use specification through quantitative design,and use bionic design to extend user experience and other packaging structural design methods;Use functional materials and ecological materials to improve safety guarantee and strengthen environmental protection.Finally,with the strengthening of process technology,improve the behavior guidance in the process of packaging use,and further improve the overall experience of barrier free packaging.Science and technology are the primary factor of productivity.In the new era,facing the international and domestic environment that pays more attention to the development and application of intelligence and science and technology,introducing intelligent technology into barrier free packaging design is a new and practical exploration path.Through interactive communication,multi sensory scheduling and immersive experience,realize the intelligent transformation of barrier free packaging in the context of the new era.On the premise of improving the shopping experience,better serve the people in need,enhance the "sense of substitution" in the packaging use of vulnerable consumer groups,and effectively achieve the increasing improvement of the functionality of barrier free packaging and the design optimization of humanistic care.
