Research On Dynamic Detection Technology And Measurement Method Of Freight Car Wheelset Size

Rail freight capacity is growing rapidly,due to the railway transportation has experienced leapfrog development,the speed of driving is constantly increasing,and the distance between cars is decreasing.The traditional methods of manual measurement and regular maintenance of wheel size by column inspection can no longer meet the needs of railway transportation.For trucks running at high speed on the track,any small or subtle faults may affect driving safety,cause major accidents and huge losses.Therefore,it is very important to improve the detection and abnormal early warning of the wheelset parts of the freight car group,and improve the maintenance and operation quality of the freight car group,to improve the traffic safety monitoring of the freight car group.Trouble of moving wheel detection system（TWDS）application of computer,network communication,automatic control and image acquisition processing technology and the introduction of scientific management methods and systematic development method,for railway truck running fault detection fault dynamic image information collection,storage,transmission and early warning service,improve the working quality and efficiency of the column to check and vehicle safety level,strengthen the truck using the fault in information collection,management,is an important part of 5T system.In this paper,aiming at the actual demand of wheelset size detection of freight cars,the dynamic detection method of wheelset size of freight cars is studied and its detection system is developed.Which can improve the efficiency and quality of freight cars’ monitoring and maintenance,and provide technical equipment support for dynamic detection of freight cars’ wheelset size.Using high-speed cameras in the truck running tracks in linear laser,will be filmed in the process of vehicle wheel parts,using computer image processing function to the 3 d data will be collected data reduction,the key point extraction,wheel size of modeling,the reduction of truck wheel size,through dynamic tracing wheel size and anomaly detection,warning,can effectively guarantee the emu train operation safety.
