| Early childhood education plays a vital role in the development of every child,and in the process of learning and living,it will be subtly influenced by the space and environment of early childhood education.Due to the constraints of traditional education concepts,parents and kindergarten teachers often limit children’s development according to their own wishes,ignoring children’s physical and mental development needs.In addition,influenced by the old educational concept,the early childhood education space design model in my country is relatively simple,the content of preschool education activities is relatively monotonous,and the daily collective life of children is relatively rigid,which also leads to the relatively simple composition of each classroom.Although the unity of such a division method is beneficial to the maintenance of order by kindergarten teachers,it lacks the attention and reflection of the physical and mental characteristics and behavioral needs of preschool children.Since the 1980 s,the concept of early childhood education and quality education in my country has gradually become a hot topic in the country and society.With the development of the concept of early childhood education,the mode of early childhood education has gradually changed from passive learning to comprehensive quality training.It has also changed to meet the needs of preschool children’s physical and mental growth and the needs of education and activities.The growth of preschool children is affected by both their own subjective factors and environmental object factors.Among them,their own subjective factors refer to the physical and psychological needs of preschool children,and environmental object factors refer to the growth of various environments in society.Therefore,the growth of preschool children is closely related to a good object environment.Preschool education space is a relatively important learning and living environment for preschool children,otherwise it bears the heavy responsibility of children’s physical and mental development.When children are full of curiosity and desire to explore the outside world,we should try our best to create an environment that is conducive to their overall development,and minimize unfavorable growth factors for them,so that they can develop freely according to their own wishes.This topic uses children’s physical,psychological and behavioral characteristics as the starting point of the article,and summarizes the psychological,physical and behavioral characteristics and behavioral needs of preschool children aged 3-6.Then,the preschool education space is divided into five parts according to different teaching contents,and some practical cases of excellent preschool education space design at home and abroad are selected to analyze and compare the commonalities and differences.It also analyzes the design principles of preschool children’s preschool education space from four aspects: space layout,scale,color,and material that have an important impact on the preschool education space.Finally,on the basis of the previous theoretical research,the specific design strategies of the preschool education space are summarized from the four aspects of the layout,scale,color and material of the preschool education space in each region.The conclusion part summarizes and looks forward to the research results of this paper,aiming to explore the preschool education space design strategies that are helpful to the physical and mental development of preschool children through the study of the physical and mental characteristics of preschool children. |
