Although our country input large amount of funds and human resources to pre-school education, there are still some over-functional disturb children’s cultivation. Pre-school education is very important to children because it’s the time they get their personal learning skills, methods and habits. Children’s development is affected by both subjective factors and non-subjective factors. The former one means children’s own physical and emotional characters, the later one means social effects on their growth. Therefore, how to build an excellent public activity space for pre-school children is the key point of this strudy.Jean Piaget is a famous western psychologist and one of the most effective scientists and ideologist. In his research career, the most famous study is on children’s psychology and behavior. He is the proposer and researcher on genetic empirism and proposes two important supporting points: Children’s behavior patterns and equilibrium. The author has the same opinion on Piaget’s that the development of children’s reorganization is mainly rely on both the impact from environment and themselves. A good environment or a good space has a direct and important influence on children’s reorganization and their development. Based on Piaget’s theories, the author find out the associative point and making exploring and research on space design for pre-school children. The research tries to put Piaget’s theories into practice and combine interdisciplinary knowledges to innovate a high-quality pubic activity space for pre-school children.
