In the 14 th Five-Year Plan and the 2035 Vision Outline,it is clearly stated that innovation is at the core of my country’s overall modernization drive.There are two forms of product innovation,the first is original innovation;the second is follow-up innovation.Original innovation refers to the unprecedented major scientific discoveries,technological inventions,principle-led technologies and other innovative achievements,but the innovation is very difficult.Following innovation refers to continuously improving the functions of products on top of existing products,developing new functions,etc.,so innovation is less difficult than the former.Combining and comparing the difficulty,cost and R&D cycle of the above two,companies prefer to follow innovation.The patent library not only contains a lot of knowledge about the principles and schemes of product innovation,functional models of existing patented products,but also contains the market’s design requirements for products.Designing original products in combination with product design requirements will greatly shorten the R&D cycle and enable enterprises to be in a leading position.This paper first introduces the relevant knowledge,function definition,function model expression and function ontology library of product conceptual design;then summarizes the TRIZ theoretical problem solving tool and its application characteristics;finally,introduces the computer-aided innovation platform Goldfire problem solving module and its implied patents library.Two design scenarios are proposed for the innovation of existing patented products: first,demand-oriented product function innovation;second,improving the functional defects and deficiencies of the product itself.The two design routes are as follows:(1)For the first design scenario,"product design based on matching of requirements and functions" is proposed.This method mainly includes several parts.First,the requirements of the product are analyzed,the user’s requirements for the product are collected,and the product is combined with the classification idea of the KANO model.The demand function is divided into basic function,expectation function and exciting function.Then take the basic function as the retrieval target,and use the Goldfire patent retrieval module to perform Boolean search for the target patent.Then use TRIZ theoretical functional analysis to establish the functional model of the target patent in the form of a functional tree,and obtain sub-functions at all levels.The sub-functions must satisfy the basic functions,and the remaining sub-functions are functionally matched with the desired functions and exciting functions,and the function model to be designed is established after the functions are eliminated,retained,and added.Finally,the specific physical structure is mapped using the TRIZ theory problem solving module and the Goldfire problem solving module.The feasibility of the method is verified by the design of an automatic baling machine for live chicken feet.(2)For the second design scenario,"Product Design Based on Analysis of Patent Groups and Functional Defects" is proposed.Firstly,analyze the difficulties existing in the existing system,and form the initial design goals.Then use the Goldfire patent search module to input IPC and keywords to search for patent groups in the technical field,and establish a functional model of the patent group.Secondly,use TRIZ theoretical function analysis to obtain the insufficient functions of the existing patent group products,and then use the patent retrieval module of Goldfire software to retrieve the target patents,and obtain behavior knowledge and component knowledge related to the insufficient functions through patent text knowledge.Then,analyze the source of functional defects for the insufficient functions.If the defects of the original system’s insufficient functions are due to the behavior of the components,the behavior knowledge of the target patent is cited,and the new behavior is used to realize the original function of the product,so that it can obtain a better expression effect.If the defect of insufficient function of the original system is due to the structural characteristics of the component,the behavior of the function is not changed,and the component knowledge of the target patent is selected to replace the component structure.Then use the TRIZ theory problem solving module and the Goldfire problem solving module to design the specific structure,and finally judge according to the principle of patent infringement.The feasibility of the method is verified by the design of a positioning bloodletting device for poultry slaughter.This thesis takes TRIZ theory as the design method,Goldfire innovative software as the product design tool,and the function model as the function expression,which runs through the product concept design.Two design scenarios are proposed for patent product innovation,and different design routes are proposed according to different design scenarios.Finally,interdisciplinary and cross-domain knowledge is applied to solve problems encountered in the product design process.
