Research On The Value And Protection Of Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Center

As a large-scale public building,modern sports architecture embodies the architectural aesthetic,design and construction level of different times,and is the true embodiment of the development track of sports cause and the development level of architecture,it is closely connected with the political,economic and cultural development of the society as a whole.With the development of urban construction and national fitness undertakings,as well as the holding of major sports events at home and abroad,the number of sports buildings built in various parts of China is increasing,moreover,the value of the diversification of modern sports buildings has gradually been attached importance to in the field of architectural protection,a number of modern sports buildings have been included in China’s 20 th Century Architectural Heritage List and the provincial and municipal protection lists of historic buildings,but at present,there are few systematic research results on the heritage value and protection strategy of modern sports architecture in China.Under the protection standards of historical buildings in the past,modern sports buildings are often underestimated because of their relatively short construction life,so the value and protection of their architectural heritage are often ignored.Over the past decade,many outstanding modern sports buildings with the characteristics of the times and historical value have been demolished or are facing the predicament of being demolished.As a typical model of the heritage of modern sports buildings,the Tianhe Stadium,how to determine its value,characteristics and forms of expression and to protect the study,in the urban development needs to achieve sustainable development,is the Tianhe Stadium need to face the reality.This paper combs the development of modern sports architecture and Guangzhou Sports Architecture,analyzes the practice of sports architecture protection,and summarizes the main protection theories and methods of modern sports architecture heritage at home and abroad.The current situation,update and existing problems of the Tianhe Stadium were analyzed through literature collation and field investigation,this paper summarizes the features of the Tianhe Stadium in terms of architectural layout,architectural space,overall shape and architectural design,and analyzes the core value elements of the Tianhe Stadium and the value of the external public space,the protection principle,protection method and promotion strategy of Tianhe Stadium are put forward.The paper is divided into six chapters that present the findings of the Tianhe Stadium.In the first chapter,the background,significance,research status,research content,research methods,research framework and other aspects of the subject related to comb and interpretation.The second chapter discusses the development of sports building and the development of Guangzhou Sports Building,sports building protection cases at home and abroad to analyze and summarize the protection methods.In the third chapter,the construction motivation,design scheme and development process of the Tianhe Stadium,as well as the development of the surrounding urban space are sorted out,and the problems of the current situation investigation of the Tianhe Stadium are analyzed,a survey was conducted on the current situation and crowd activity of the public space outside the Tianhe Stadium.In the fourth chapter,through the field survey results of the Tianhe Stadium and the external public space,the author analyzes and summarizes the main Tianhe Stadium and the external public space and the overall spatial pattern characteristics.The fifth chapter analyzes the value elements of the Tianhe Stadium through the definition,significance and basis of the value elements of the Tianhe Stadium,summarize the historical value,artistic value,scientific value,social value,use value and economic value contained in the value elements;This paper analyzes the historical value,social value,use value and economic value of the Tianhe Stadium external public space.The sixth chapter establishes the Tianhe Stadium through the basic protection principle of the Tianhe Stadium architectural heritage;In combination with the value elements,this paper proposes the protection and promotion of the architectural form,structure,function and facilities of the Tianhe Stadium According to the space syntax analysis of the external public space of the Tianhe Stadium,the vital factors affecting the space are determined,and the protection and promotion of the space texture are proposed.
