Research On Development Of Modern Sports Architecture In China

In the second decade of the twenty-first century,with the background of the coexistence of maturity and change,sports architecture in China has made great achievements,but faced with the transformation in construction and discipline.At this very moment,a complete and objective research of sports architecture in China is conducive to the discipline’s improvement;and is helpful to face the era with challenge and opportunities rationally.Sports architecture is a multidisciplinary,professional and distinctive research topic,which have broad denotation.In this paper,the proposition of " Development of Modern Sports Architecture in China" is carried out along two axial directions.On the vertical axis,based on time clue,with the linear view of history,modern sports development in China is divided into four periods to analysis.On the horizontal axis,based on the element context,from the system perspective,the development in each period has been analysised and carried out summary of background,profiles and characteristics which mainly including three elements: function,form and technology(structure,material,equipment and digital technology),forming the multi-level research system.This paper adopts interdisciplinary research method,text research method,field investigation method and the interview method as research methods,introduces the system theory as the theoretical institution,constructs a multi-level system frame making up of time series system,space system,background system and architectural system.The first chapter is the introduction,which points out the background,the purpose,the significance and the scope of the study,the relevant literature review,the content and methods of research and the innovation.The second chapter is the foundation of development of modern sports architecture in China,in which explores the source and ground of sports architecture in China from two aspects: the traditional architecture and culture of sports in ancient China and modern architecture and culture of sports in the western world.The third chapter to the sixth chapter analyzes the background、the general situation and the characteristics of sports architecture in China of four different periods--the modern times、the contemporary times、the present times after Chinese economic reform to new century and the present times in the new century.Chapter 7 is the analysis of the overall evolution system and the pre-judgment of future development of sports architecture in China.On the one hand,it summarizes and analyzes the evolution characteristics of sports architecture in China from the elements perspective,and discusses the current situation;On the other hand,it predicts the future development trend of sports architecture with the social development background in China,and puts forward rational design strategies.Modern sports architecture in China developed on a weak foundation,have been experienced four periods’ development with characteristics of functions,forms and techniques.With the ―new normal‖ social environment and Industry background,sports architecture in China would have rational function,form,and technology in the future.
