Landscape Design Research Based On Material Cultural Heritage Protection ——Taking The Huhehot Big Kiln Cultural Site As An Example

With the development of Chinese civilization over thousands of years and the rapid development of world modernization,China’s cultural heritage and material cultural heritage protection and research has never stopped,but the ancient civilization heritage sites are constantly losing and disappearing.Faced with the problem,most people focus on the restoration of the original heritage sites,while few designers consider the inheritance and innovation of the heritage landscape and sustainable landscape development in combination with the local site environment.As a result,the methods of site and landscape protection are still based on basic restoration.The purpose of this paper is to clarify the connotation of site landscape design,features of site functions and characteristics of cultural elements through the inheritance of site cultural resources,preservation of historical continuity and extraction of site elements.The importance and feasibility of combining site protection with landscape design are discussed through literature,historical materials and field investigation.At the same time,the expression of site landscape design techniques,protection and utilization strategies and cultural inheritance and innovation were studied in practice,and then the site space was organized and arranged.Finally,this paper will take the history and culture of Dayao as the entry point,from the perspective of "material cultural heritage protection",and build the landscape of Dayao cultural heritage into a featured material cultural heritage landscape with "protection and inheritance of culture" as the core of leisure and entertainment and "experiential tourism" as one.Then explore the historical and cultural inheritance,inherit and carry forward the kiln culture.
